We consulted with Jake at Central Illinois Insulation after discovering moisture and bat poop had compromised our fiberglass insulation. Jake was very diligent in answering all of our questions and concerns we had with our roof. The crew kindly removed the old insulation for us and installed foam insulation. Each person that we interacted with showed the utmost professionalism by maintaining communication about next steps, seeking clarification on what we would like for certain areas, taking extra care to cleanup after themselves, and were just kind. The team worked really hard to finish our attic space in three days. They really transformed the attic, making it a more functional space. We are grateful for the work they did and would highly recommend Central Illinois Insulation to insulate everyone’s home.

Central Illinois insulation and the work they performed, was integral to my deep energy retrofit project. I chose them because Tim Wagonbach’s reputation preceded him as a standout in his field. Although we had 1 call back for each of the facets of our project (box seals, garage ceiling, ductwork in the garage, and attic seal and insulate), he and his crew were thorough, professional, and courteous. I have high standards, and this project had its share of surprises and challenges. Throughout the process, Tim, and his crews showed incredible professionalism, wisdom, patience, and cooperation. In my mind, this is the only insulator worthy of my business.

One star is a bit excessive honestly, but that’s the lowest star I can give. He was here two days ago and wore booties over his boots as I asked him to. He took out a piece of drywall that was blocking air flow to and from the attic and left it unscrewed. I noticed my house was very warm the next day when I had the AC turned up so I called Amaren to ask if they could fix it. He was the man hired by them so they called him to come back out. As soon as he arrived he ran up the stairs on my brand new white carpet with his muddy sneakers on before I could even ask him to remove them. As he was screwing nails in the piece of drywall blocking my attic I set paper towels on each step and made a walkway for him to walk on so he wouldn’t step on my white carpet again. He ran down the steps so fast without having me check anything and completely bypassed all the paper towels on each step(completely avoiding the towels and stepping next to the edges of each towel) again muddying up my new white carpet with his dirty shoes! I called Amaren and let them know what happened and they told me to call him. I let him know that I did not appreciate it and he tried coming back to spray some solution on my carpet. When I refused he still showed up, telling my daughter he was here to clean the carpet. She had just arrived and let him in unknowingly, then told me some guy was trying to clean the carpet. I had to run downstairs to find him examining my carpet when I had to firmly tell him to leave my house. He gave me a very dirty look and told me my carpet was fine and then he tried to take pictures of it. Luckily my carpet didn’t suffer much damage, however the entire thing was extremely unprofessional and rude! Don’t recommend!!!

They have blown insulation in our attic and changed an old bathroom fan to a fantastic Panasonic 3 in one that has been amazing. They were competitively priced and completed the project on schedule. Thanks Tim and gang!

Tim's crew came out to spray foam insulation on my new home build. They even stopped in the driveway to reposition an electrical cord that was in the way. They were friendly to work with and overcame a few challenges to finish the job that day.

Horrible customer service. Rushes to get done. Not friendly, and left my AC with a whistling noise everytime I turn it on now. This is ridiculous how awful of customer service you get from this guy. He needs to take some tome improving his people skills if he wants to work for himself.
