We initially signed a contract with CF Solar in April of 2023 and were told that installation would be 6-8 weeks out. Not long after signing the contract, we discovered that Titan Solar would be doing our install; and after reading their reviews I brought my concerns to our CF Solar reps attention. He reassured me that Titan was ONLY doing our install, but all else (including any issues we may have/warranty/etc) would be handled by CF (which, up to this point had been very responsive). Our panels were delivered in June of 2023, with one panel being broken. The installation moved forward in June and we were told that the replacement panel was in stock and could be installed "very soon" after the initial installment. The final panel did not get installed until October of 2023 (after much hassle and outreach on my part). Between the months of October and December I had to repeatedly reach out and beg them to make headway to get everything finalized and approved so that we could get our panels turned on and fully operating. During that 3 month period, our system failed NUMEROUS inspections, which required more workers to schedule time to come out, cancel, reschedule, "fix" whatever else, and FAIL INSPECTIONS YET AGAIN! Our system was finally turned on in December (while it was understandably cloudy) and our panels were "underproducing" due to the weather, so we were forced to pay our full Ameren bill as well as our payment for the Solar panel system that was FINALLY turned on, but not doing the job it was intended to do (due to the weather and the horrible timing of when it was FINALLY turned on). For approximately 3-4 months of this year, we were starting to see a difference in our Ameren bill and we were relieved that things were falling into place.... until the past 2 months when our Ameren bill started to drastically increase again! I have now been trying to reach out to CF solar (after speaking with Ameren who said that our panels were underproducing), in order to attempt to find out WHY our panels are UNDERPRODUCING IN THE SUMMER MONTHS!!! Ironically enough the increase and the underproduction all started occurring approximately after we sent in the $9,000 from our tax credit!! This company is a JOKE!!!

I had literally the exact same experience I copied in below. The sales pitch promised sunshine and roses, the install and results were awful. They left debris in my yard, missed several appointments, and took from my install date in June of 2023 to late January of 2024 to get my system turned on. I too will not get my state grant this year due to their lack of accountability. Find a local company in your community, not someone who subs out the work to Titan and then blames Titan for everything.

The other positive reviews posted here are why I initially went with CF Solar."

Cf solar is nothing but a middle man to make money. I was promised quick easy solutions through the whole process. Anytime I have a question it is never answered and I am told I will be called back. Then to never actually get an answer. Cf solar is a total scam and I don't understand what there job is in solar even. They contract titan to do everything then wash their hands of you. Now that titan is out of business too Cf solar can give me no direction or any help with how to move forward or help me diagnose a problem that did come up with my system. Stay far away from this company!

I purchased my home solar system from C.F. Solar about two years ago, had a fantastic experience during the whole process. Everything worked out nicely and they saved us a lot of money on our electric costs. The solar system works great. Would highly recommend them. Thank you CF Solar!

The guys did great! We had multiple quotes and they beat them all and did whatever they could to try and earn my business.
The panels looks fantastic! I’m looking forward to spending less on my utility bills especially in these times of inflation and uncertainty.
