Several months ago the lid got ripped off our toter during trash pickup; at least that's all we can figure, it was attached when we set it out but not when we brought it in. We called four separate times to have the toter replaced with one where the lid doesn't come open in a stiff breeze and actually seals the smell in. They constantly promise that they'll swap it out "this week" or "soon", but we still have it. This week they missed our trash pickup on Monday, we called on Tuesday to let them know, and they said put it back out on Thursday. Guess what, it's Thursday and I still have a full toter, plus now a full can inside my house with nowhere to put the trash. No trash hauler in Urbana has as high of a rating, or as good of a price, as Chris's but to say I'm unsatisfied with their service is an understatement.

I've used Chris's Service since I moved in 18 years ago and have never had a problem. I've put a lot of extra trash out and on those occasions when an extra charge was warranted, it was always reasonable. I recommend with confidence.

I switched over from Republic due to there high prices and being unprofessional. When I called to start service with Chris's Service Company it was super easy and quick. After payment they dropped off the trash can that same day and their prices are reasonable. The customer service has been excellent so far. So glad I made the switch over, wish I would have done it sooner.

I highly recommend this trash company. Good pricing, always on time, the workers are friendly and so is the office staff. If you need furniture or big items hauled away you just call them to give them a heads up and the prices for hauling the extra items are very reasonable. You can pay on line or by mail. I've used them for 6 years and plan to continue!

We've lived in Tolono 7 years and have had Chris's since the start. They've been wonderful! Their billing is always accurate, you can always get a person on the phone when you call, they are always nice, from those who answer calls to those who wave from the truck. I would highly recommend them!

Chris's goes above and beyond for service! Their collectors are cheerful, friendly, and will frequently do amazing little things like bringing an empty can up to our house so it doesn't blow away. They're always so friendly to our kids and know how things like yelling hi to them or honking the horn and waving can really make their day. On top of that, the service is the best priced around and always reliable. 5 stars for sure!

Chris's has served my home in Urbana for past year and I've had a great experience. Set up account and received can very fast. Chris's picks up in our neighborhood after 8am, unlike Dale Levitt, whose decrepit truck roars up and down our street before 4:30am once a week. I've recommended Chris's and Mel's to other neighbors and they've been satisfied.
