Wonderful experience! We had gotten a few different quotes and Citrus wasn't the cheapest but they were far from the most expensive. There was no sales pitch or pushy tactics (unlike some other we spoke to). The install was great, very professional and knowledgeable, passed all inspections the first time. If I had to find a complaint I would find it on APS and not with Citrus lol.

Citrus Solar exceeded my expectations when it came to pricing, responsiveness, installation and follow thru. They installed a system down the street at a neighbors house who had nothing but praise. When I called them, they were responsive and answered all of my questions regarding system sizing, contract, and installation.

We had a difficult inspector from the City, however, they handled it with grace, and communicated to me every step of the way.

The installation was clean and organized. The crew showed up everyday that I was told they'd be on site (very rare in residential construction world), and when engergized, there were a few bugs to work through. The promptly worked through the issues, and I've been enjoying solar power through the extreme heat of the summer!

I have been one of the biggest skeptics of solar. In part, due door-to-door salespeople with high pressure, sign-up-now tactics. And in part, due to what I see on the roofs of other homes around town—hideous conduit running over tile and walls, tied to ugly solar panels, often in odd locations. It’s an eyesore.

Citrus Solar changed all that with their transparent pricing, their good-looking solar panels, carefully placed in an effective and out-of-site location on our home. They kept the install incredibly clean. And completely hands off for me. I can’t believe how easy the entire process was.

What really surprised me the day after install was when I walked outside and looked up at the panels, I thought to myself, man, those look really cool. Then, I had this awesome feeling of freedom—that we’d created some energy independence from the big guys.

Now we can watch the power we’re generating on an app, and see the money we’re saving on our bills.

It’s been great having solar for our home. We never would’ve gotten to a place to do this with anyone else. Thank you Citrus, for being more of a neighbor and friend than a business that only cares about making more dollars. It feels good to work with honest people who know what they’re doing and care about what they do. I wish more business were like you.

I rarely leave reviews unless it deserves attention. I was introduced to Greg and Citrus Solar by word of the mouth, after I met and assessed six other solar vendors, many much bigger and established nationally. I found Greg's business approach to solar different from the others; by cutting out the middle sales representatives, Greg can offer a more competitive rate. Also, I worked directly with the owner.
I signed up with Greg in March and went live with Solar within 30 days. Three months in and no issues to report. My April and May utility bills were both credits and June has a charge of $50 instead of $500. The solar savings are real and I can already see my return on investment with Citrus.
Next year I'm planning to add a battery, after I receive the 30% refund. Fingers crossed.

In terms of pricing, no one is going to beat them. They came in at $8k less than our last quote and that was just the initial loan amount, so thousands more than that over the life of the loan. Also, the loan offered by many solar companies is initially interest only payments and could get HIGHER if the tax credit isn't used towards it; their loan stays that amount and can go LOWER if you use the tax credit. Wish we had started with Citrus from the beginning. We went thru a few companies at first, thought we selected what was best for us; after some delays and communications issues, we decided to take another look around. I'm glad we did, the time and effort that Citrus put into the quote and ensuring we were comfortable with moving forward with them was exceptional. We have had the solar running for over a week now and its great, they installed in a timely manner and the design was what we were looking for in the end. They paint matched the conduit on the roof/wall, had all panels on one side of the roof and kept the design simple.

I really cannot say enough great things about this company. We had to get a new roof and wanted to see if it was a good time to get solar at the same time. We reached out to a roofer who put us in touch with their solar guy. We got the quote and were thinking about going forward, but thought we should get at least one more bid. I'm so glad we did. Citrus Solar provided a bid for solar and also arranged for several roofing bids. It ended up saving us tens of thousands of dollars. The entire process was pretty much perfect. The roof was completed in a timely and professional way. And then the solar installers came out. They were fantastic. Gave great information, explained everything, and cleaned up afterwards. It was obvious they cared a lot and believed in their product. I highly recommend Citrus Solar, and have already begun giving their info to my friends and neighbors.

I was THIS close to going solar. Almost thought I had everything in the bag, did what research I could, got competitive quotes, checked AZROC, BBB, etc. for bad reviews of each company. Citrus Solar was all set to go after proving themselves the best of all the companies I dealt with.

Then.. I was hammered by my family for being foolish to take a loan out, my wife stated she felt bullied into the decision and that she doesn't even like the look of solar panels. The process was dead on arrival. We'd already got a hit to our credit as I truly thought we'd be on the same page, and I wouldn't be looked down on for taking a loan out.

Tim and Citrus Solar were so great and understanding that we couldn't move forward. I wasn't penalized monetarily for the cancellation; I was empathized with and have even gotten help notifying their lender that the loan should not be dispersed. |

Maybe one day I can turn the tide and hope that solar is still viable for us, and if that day comes, I'll be back to Citrus Solar without question

Citrus Solar was really pleasant to deal with. I got an instant quote through their website and it was a good place to start. I still had questions, and was able to connect to an advisor who surprisingly responded late in the evening. Ever since then, they were quick to respond either by phone or text. By far, they had the best price by thousands less but with high quality q cells panels! Every step of the process they let me know what was being done. I signed and had it installed and up and running in about 5 weeks connected to SRP. I was pleasantly surprised that the owner, Greg, personally came to my home during the install to check on it. Everyone I dealt with, including the installers seemed passionate about their job and were extremely friendly and willing to answer questions. I would highly recommend Citrus Solar for anyone that wants a no pressure way to learn and go solar!
