I ordered garbage service 7/2024 and paid $105 ahead of time for 3 months service. I was instructed to bag my garbage up and leave at the curb until my dumpster arrived. I assumed it would be right away as is usually done. The first week, animals chewed thru the bags and I spent the first week rebagging my garbage to avoid having trash all over my yard. Dumpster still did not arrive- I called and explained the problem, and asked when I could expect the can. They told me it could be two months. They picked up my trash one week out of 3 or 4 and I finally told them I didnt want to work with their comapny. I was informed I would at least receive a $95 refund as they had only picked up my trash one time. Now, I had to pay over the phone, upfront for three months service before they would do anything for me. For my refund- I was initially told they would send me a check in six weeks, I had to pay another $105 to J&S at that same time- so they could bring out a dumpster and start picking up my trash- which they did with a quickness, efficiently. Now- it is October 2024 and I still have not received my refund. I called last week and asked where my money was- I was told it was mailed out the end of September. Still nothing this week- and I called back. This woman told me that they just began my refund at the end of september and it can take 6-8 weeks to receive a check in the mail. I asked the woman where is my money and when will I get it. I need my money. She said she knows neither where it is, or when i will get it aside from 6-8 weeks from the end of September. I had one week of this service in July. I want my money back- I need my money back. I live right here in Clinton- I did not mail them a check when i needed service. why cant they just refund my money to my original method of payment? Nobody knows. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau. I have no idea who is running this company but everything about it is garbage- aside from picking mine up. This is some false advertisement as well as shoddy service. The raccoons took better care of my trash than this comapny did. I want my money.
