Subsidized pricing makes this very affordable. But it seems they are also cutting back on the qualifications on their workforce. They completely forgot to insulate one small section and they used backer rods with clear silicone in our kitchen. The backer rod is still visible of course and doesn't look good.

I received my FREE Energy audit today. What an experience! They Sealed ALL open drafty areas with a sealer and improved my homes energy score by 7 %.
The Guys were all terrific and have one thing in mind, that is to save the owner $$$$ on energy costs! My Home has an Energy Score of 8 out of a possible 10!!!! Now that is GREAT News!!! Find out what your homes Energy Score is, it is WELL worth it! Thanks for the program!

It's ironic that this is a woman-owned business because the young man who came out for the audit recently was a sexist who refused to communicate with my wife and also sat on his butt while his partner did all the work (he was white, his partner black). Also the insulating strips that they installed this fall are all falling off now. Very unprofessional all around.

Anyone who doesn't conduct an energy audit on their home is insane. Seriously.

This was my first experience with CMC Energy Services. They were recommended from UI to help with our energy audit and I could not have been more impressed with their service, professionalism and expertise.

I recently bought a home and the heating costs were more than I anticipated and knew we must have an issue with the insulation or furnace.

Bruce and Mark showed up at exactly 9am (always nice) and spent nearly the entire day (9am-4:30pm) checking and working on all aspects of our HVAC system. They are clearly experts in air loss, insulation, duct work, etc. They spent hours in the attic and basement addressing various issues. They explained all of their tests and steps to help improve the system. At the end, you get a complete report and next steps to help address any issues they can't fix. This also includes tons of rebate offers so the audit pays for itself.

As a bonus, Bruce and Mark both happen to be great with pets which was important for us as we have a dog and cat and needed to make sure they didn't get outside or anything like that.

Highly recommend. It's a no brainer. I would ask for Bruce and Mark. Great team.

What a great pleasure it was to meet the ‘high energy’ team of Andrew and Elizabeth! They were both so friendly and knowledgeable along with being so informed about the whole process of this evaluation. Andrew completed a lengthy book of details for me to go over when I want to improve the energy model of my house. It made it easy to put things in perspective when deciding whether to get new sofa first or new windows!
They both found and concealed air pockets and changed energy saving lights all around the house. It was fun to watch their process with the big powerful fan they brought and fixed over the entry door to determine what parts of the house are pulling cold air in. I knew that our 1965 house was bad with keeping heat in, but I was taken by surprise by what areas of the house were pulling the most air in!
I recommend CMC services to everyone in Connecticut especially Wallingford where your town is willing to pay the modest fee as well! Even if the town didn’t pay, the fee is less than the amount of lights they changed!

The team that arrived to conduct an energy audit for my house were exceptional! They were extremely friendly, enthusiastic, thorough, helpful in explaining details and offering suggestions to make my home more energy efficient. Dave and Brianna specifically were phenomenal. You could tell he and the team loved their job and enjoyed helping people. They were such a pleasure to have around for the day. By the afternoon when the team had done a good amount of work, my house already felt much warmer. The amount of work they did for just $50 was amazing.
