Quick and easy but... Holy Scrap their prices are terrible. Average $40 to $60 more almost anywhere else.

Awful! Would give 0 stars if allowable. If not difficult enough dealing with the moody lady at the pay counter, the weighing and processing is clearly flawed and in their favor. It is as if they learn from the casino and the odds are always in favor of the house. Will be taking my business elsewhere. Such a waste of time.

Place was easy enough. Downside is they dont charge correctly. Brought a small (100lb) transformer and they only gave me 1/2 price I shoulda got. They charged it as a motor.

I absolutely despise this place. They operate starting at 5am or earlier and the fires pose a threat to the neighbors and their homes - never mind the house shaking noise the cranes make on a daily basis. Absolutely no reason for this place to be operating in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Horrible. Leave LED flood lights on all night long. They should be HEAVILY fined for taking up fire departments’ time and resources. Just let it burn down OR MOVE SOMEWHERE MORE REMOTE!!!

this place was fantastic. there wasn't a single employee who didn't do their utmost to help me out. it was record high heat and not one of them was cranky. every thing is well marked and easy to understand and you don't feel like you are in a work zone. very well run and organized. i will be returning anytime i have scrap metal.

I've been to a bunch of scrap yards and this one stands out. Paid fair value for the metal without me arguing about price, and as odd as it sounds the workers were really friendly. I didn't know where to go and Joey in the office was cool about it, most places just treat you like you're clueless and with contempt.

House shaking booms that sound like a car hitting the house, I'm curious if that's why we have cracks in the basement. I've done business with them and prices aren't posted anywhere so only larger business are making any profit. The alcoholics that litter Pequot Rd are bringing the best to the neighborhood(nips, beer cans, beer box's). The big trucks were using the top of the driveway as a turn around and part of the front yard. They also park in the right-a-way they put in the residential lot next door, Zoned residential Not industrial. Lights stay on all night and their loaders have off-road led bar that blind me when coming home early in the morning. The owners son knows me cause of complaints, words gotten back to me that he's bad mouthing me to town council members.
