They were efficient and made sure we knew about follow-up steps they would take to hide the steel conduit with paint that matched both our siding and shingles. I met with Sam from Gladius Solar and he put together a plan to help me get a new roof, solar and explain my 2024 tax credit incentive. In November of 2024, I received a new roof and then the Convert Solar team installed the solar panels. I was very pleased at each install team as they were efficient and made sure my property was cleaned up during their visit. I then started to see the benefits of solar happen over the last 3 months to where I'm seeing about a $20 charge each month now and it continues to go down from Dominion Energy. It's work perfectly and I received my tax credit. Everything Sam stated happened!! Truly happy with this decision to go solar!!

I was very happy with Convert Solar. I had 3 different companies come to my door to talk to me about solar. I did my own research and found Convert through the Solarize VA program. I called them and Jeremy from Convert was by far the most honest and straight forward of any of the companies' representatives. He clearly had my best interests in mind and answered all of my many questions and didn't beat around the bush to make a sale.

On top of all of that, the final price was MUCH lower than the other companies, with higher quality panels (i did my research on this as well to verify). Other companies touted their low interest rates... which don't matter when the system price is 2 or 3 times higher. I had a neighbor who went with another company, but they had a very hard time selling their house without losing money because of how much extra the other company charged on their base loan.

The installation team was on time, fast, and communicated well. They even made some last minute measurements and changes at my request to have a couple panels moved to a more efficient part of my roof, which saves me more money!

There were overall no disadvantages to going with Convert and I would recommend them to anyone.

The people have been outstanding. Our project got started late. I will share a 50/50 responsibility. In the meantime there were some upgrades to our proposed equipment. However I have not seen the predicted performance/cost savings from the install. I fully understand this time of the year doesn't produce the same amount of electricity as I am hoping I can bank in the upcoming months. Point is great installers, great sales and after install support. I will have to wait to see if it performs as expected.

The design and planning phase was smooth - they took the time to explain the process, answer our questions, and tailored the system specifically to our home‘s energy needs.
Installation was timely and clean, with minimal disruption. The crew was courteous and clearly experienced. Once the system was up and running, we saw a significant drop in our utility bills. We have paid minimal utilities ever since with the exception of January and February 2025 because of the extended cold spell.

Excellent experience with Convert Solar! Dylan shepherded the process through, was always available for questions and all has gone well with the panels. The price was quite reasonable and the electricity cost savings has been significant. The team installed the panels in less than a day and cleaned up completely. I’ve had them for about 8 months. All good!
