Jennie and Jeremy are a great couple and are doing a fantastic job at their place!! The information about the distillery process was very informational and Jeremy remained humble with all the questions. Afterward to the tasting was amazing with Jennie...she was delightful and also I fkrmsrice about the different lines of products we were tasting. A very family oriented hometown and down to earth family business to support. Will return every year when we're here. Loved it !!! Thank you for the experience and the sprirts were a bonus !! This place is locally owned & operated by great family. We decided to take our group & check it out & play in their cornhole venue.
We all had so much fun, laughs, and met some great people. I would highly recommend this place to all the locals & if you're a tourist, this is a must-see on things to do.

I've known Jeremy since childhood. Him and his family have done a remarkable job with Copper Bottom.

We recently picked up some Bourbon Whisky (for my husband) and Silver Rum (for me).

My husband said this was the best Bourbon Whiskey he's ever had!!!

We had been here 3 years ago, prior to the pandemic, and decided we wanted to go back and check it out. Last time here it was "Jeep Week" in April, and the distillery was part of a charitable scavenger hunt, so it was hopping! Today was more laid back, and also saw the addition of new spirits to include a port barrel aged rum, a sherry barrel aged rum, a whiskey barrel aged rum, a beer barrel aged rum, and a wine barrel aged rum, in addition to their standard offering of white rum and cane sugar based vodka. Tastings and a tour are free and include a very informative presentation on their spirits. Unfortunately, they were sold out of their port wine and sherry based rums, but the vodka was outstanding and a bottle followed us home. Rumour has it more of the sherry and port rums will be available in time for Halloween, we'll be checking back frequently. An expansion with a nice outdoor deck may be in the works, too. Cocktails are offered to enjoy onsite, and food trucks are also frequently offered. Call or check the website for availability. If you're here for Jeep Week, Copper Bottom is a charitable sponsor for these events, give them a visit, you'll be glad you did. Hey Jeep guys, there's a carwash next door to give your ride a quick wash on the way out, just bring your own quarters! Enjoy!

UPDATE: We just got back from a week in Daytona and a trip there is not complete for us without a stop by Copper Bottom. What a surprise this time! Jeremy had a new release for us of his Bottled in Bond, 100 proof, dark rum...it was OUTSTANDING! If you enjoy quality rum, this is the one! It's distilled onsite, and aged 6 years, with no added sugars, colors or flavors. Only 228 bottles were made and if you can get one, I would suggest you invest the $100, it's well worth it! Definitely a "sipping rum", it's a real pleasure to enjoy. (see photos at the end of this post).

Awesome spirits. If you want to try some great rum and vodka this is the place. Jeremy was awesome. He gave us such great info on how they make their spirits. The rums were very tasty. Come try some rum you will find something you love.
