I do not recommend corn belt at all. Their prices are so high. As soon as I get a chance to get a new provider I will. When I call they say that my bill is correct (insanely high) but I’m on budget billing. DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU HAVE AN OPTION.

Thank you very much to corn belt energy and it's outstanding employees. You all work very hard year-round to take care of us. Been a customer almost 30 years.
Yesterday the young gal who changed out my meter was exceptionally polite and professional. I'm a disabled Marine and she was very considerate to my locked gates, dogs and lack of mobility.
Thanks again for your outstanding service. Semper Fi

What a joke of a company. Points squarely to poor management. Apps doesn't work, no one ever answers the phone for customer service, no joke, they literally wont even pick it up. Have never actually spoken to an actual human at this place. Biggest red flag of a poorly run and managed company is poor customer service and this customer service is literally non existent. Cant submit the issue on the website as it errors out every time so currently cannot access anything that has any association with Corn Belt. It's comical at this point. I have been able to explore every option I could think of to get through and even though none of them worked it is nice that they leave you on hold for so long that you have the time to research and explore any other contact options. Still holding by the way, 3rd stint for over an hour so that's 3 plus hours total and not one time has anyone even picked it up. Just hold music. Lucky for Corn Belt you don't really get a choice so they can operate with this level of incompetency because no one can do anything about it anyway. Again management at this place is a joke.

Scam company sending fraudulent charges over three months after cancelling service at our old apartment. There's been a new tenant there since we moved out, so they know what they're doing is fraudulent and don't care. Horrible customer service when we called about a late charge, lady on the phone said "oh that's because it's from last month". We still weren't here last month, genius. Told us to call our old apartment once again, who thankfully seems to be handling it at the moment. But this company should be sued into nonexistence.

Customer service is a joke. No help at all. Cut off for back balance when bill said prier balance was 0$ an new bill wasn't even due yet. No disconnect notice warning sent to me or anything. I call an they wanna argue an main guy gets on phone with an additude an hung up on me. If you can get yr power some where else I'd recommend it. I'd give them no stars but it won't let me

Cut off service 6 days before payment was even due. Does that make any sense? No problem….called to have it back on and make a payment, now charging $90 for “after hours reconnect fee” where it was $0 before. What a terrible company.

I called 3 weeks ago and set up a "payment arrangement" as was having medical and filing bankruptcy and other financial issues. Other utility companies are helpful. I had no idea what a terrible mess and process and lies I would be given in the name of "Customer Service" . Justin, (Supervisor, I guess) point blank did nothing to help and I think the service center and billing systems are a sham or deceitful.

I talked with a service lady 3 weeks ago and asked for an arragement. I repeated that I wanted it noted in the system so if something happens or I am shut off then they can see. She said that was not possible but would make note. I made the arrangement to pay the 2nd week of October.

Today, I get a text message saying service will be shut off this week. I called the Service Center Again and spoke with someone (a lady) who said it was OK to just pay next week. I expressed my concerns about the text message and worry that it would be shut off if they don't put something in their "system" and consumers have no way of verifying that the arrangement was honored. Guess what.....after hanging up and one hour later, my service was disconnected.

My guess this was intentional. Justin spoke with me and was terrible and pretty much said I could not get my electricity back on until my payment was made as I have "No Payment Arrangement" on record.

Mind you, I expressed and asked the service center TWICE in two different occasions to make sure and note.

It is clear their service is a sham and systems don't integrate or talk and not honoring or helping vunerable, elderly and systematically stopping service with no help of payment arrangements is not consumer friendly nor friendly with the COVID financial situations and other situations going on.

I am wondering if they are getting COVID money to help their "business" and service center. If so, that is wrong. Their systems and service are a joke and not consumer friendly. I believe their is billing and service issues and their processes are corrupt and not useful for real people.

They will cut off anyone at anytime and they are both rude, deceitfu land liars and don't note or honor those with financial hardship, bankruptcies or that have called multiple times for "payment arrangements".

Its ridiculous and corrupt it is clear. Like everything else in this state.

Very poor customer service. They have zero empathy and they will make no allowances for payment plans rather freezing winter or hot summer they will shut the power off even if you have been a longtime customer with excellent paying record. The company's Mission Statement is a lie - they care only about bottom line and nothing about customers who may be ill or disabled and need additional time to pay the bill.
