Stay away! I've been a customer for a few years now. Started out good but they keep getting new people. No one answers the calls in the office or returns calls. I've had many many issues with them from breaking my trim tabs and making me pay to fix them to almost sinking my boat. They lost my drain plug and gave me a bad one that caused my boat to take on water. Just many issues. Avoid them is your best bet

This place has continually gone down hill with each new owner. This is now clearly an investor's group that is only interested in cash flow and doing nothing for the customers. If you don't like the service, they say "go somewhere else". They can't even take two minutes to tie up our boat so it floated off into the fork lift. They must have been in a hurry because they didn't raise our Bimini top either. It could be so much nicer! Looking forward to our rate increases in January. ?

I stopped in a year or two ago to look at a boat for sale. I didn’t know much about boats and Skip took me around and spent an inordinate amount of time helping me learn and see differences. I didn’t buy that boat because I dragged my feet and it sold. He was incredible. Today I stopped in to ask about storage and met Julie. She is exactly like Skip, personable and took her time explaining all the details. Skip walked in and made sure I was well taken care of. Once again an impressive customer service experience by both. I haven’t bought anything yet, but I know that leadership like this flows down through the staff.

We have been using Loggerhead Cortez Village Marine to store and take care of our boat for the past 5 summers. Words can not express how happy we are with the service and friendliness from Managment to the girls in the office and to the men and women in the yard. Thank you all for another great summer of boating. Looking forward to seeing y'all next summer.

Beware- the marina isn’t being forthcoming about the canal access situation… After several years and two boats at this marina I finally left due to poor management and service. The maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities has gone downhill. The motor flushing and exterior scrub down is done for 3 seconds- they just go through the motions… my interior would be covered in termite droppings and when I mention that they get pissy so I had to spray interior down before each use. I’ve witnessed staff yelling at customers… the list goes on and on…

My new neighbor asked about this marina, so here you are. I’ve been around marinas and boated for over 50 years. I’ve kept a boat here for 5 or 6 years. The place is the cleanest, well run, friendly knowledgeable staff, safety conscious, on time crew I’ve ever done business with. Valet service at its finest! Thanks to all for making our boating experiences a pleasure.

I have been in longboat for 11 years and use my boat almost every day. This past year I switched marinas to cortez village marina after keeping my boat at another marina for almost 10 years unsure if it was the right move. It was! The place is kept incredibly clean at all times and has the perfect amenities for me. It has the feel of a private club without rental boat and jet skis causing trouble. Skip and his team are always around to help and do an incredible job. I honestly can say that it has made my life on the water more enjoyable than ever and am looking forward to many more years keeping my boat there.

Bradenton Boat Club, now called Cortez Village Marina, has provided an exceptional experience for me, as a first time boat owner. Skip as manager, Casey and Noah in the office, and Chris and the rest of the crew out on the docks and lifts all provided us with a truly great experience.
I didn’t want the hassle of trailering and off-site storage, so we looked into several local high and dry marinas. After visiting the other facilities in conjunction with Bradenton Boat Club, it was an easy choice. From the start of our experience, their personnel were friendly, and polite professionals who were always seen hustling around the docks to get you on and off the water with speed and ease.
Sadly, we recently sold our boat with the intent of enjoying other experiences. Here again, Skip was there to help us out with the advertising, sale, and processing of our boat for a reasonable fee. They did the sea trials and marine survey with the prospective buyers, again, making the entire process easy.
If you want to be treated like you own a yacht, even though you only have an 18’ boat like we did, Skip and his crew at Cortez Village Marina is the place to take your boating business.
