SAVED THE DAY & OUR VACATION!!!! We broke a leaf spring traveling down Interstate 64. It broke near the hanger, so the wheel was out of alignment and rubbing against the wheel well. It was not drivable for any distance. We called some other local places and one recommended calling Country Blacksmith. We called, explained our situation and Stan gave me tips on how to jack up the trailer, wedge a 2x4 between the axle and the frame so that it could at least be driven over to the shop with out damaging anything. Once there, they got us in and replaced the broke leaf spring. We noticed how much higher the side with the new leaf spring was, so we looked at the other leaf spring and it was visibly sagging. Stan replaced it as well. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and the price was super reasonable. We were super grateful to find this place. They saved the day and our Florida Vacation. I highly recommend Country Blacksmith for trailer service.

Fantastic service. I had a trailer hitch installed and only wish I had found them sooner. Professional, competent, friendly business. Great selection of parts and the best prices I’ve seen, including online and big box retailers. Highly recommend.

Get a bid/quote before you authorize repairs or they'll replace nearly new parts with new. Stated my wiring was "shreaded". However, I spent a couple hours under the trailer before taking it to them. NO wires were shreaded. Many LED lights, junction box and pigtail were about 6 months old. Yet in 3 days time, apparently, all went bad. I dont think so.

I expected a couple hundred bucks. Repair bill was closer to 2000 than it was to 200.

Edit - I used the lights for the first time last night. Every pothole made the lights change between on and off. Obvious to me that a ground wire was not secured properly.

This past Saturday while returning home from Sturgis (we always go the week before), we had 2 wheel studs shear off of one wheel on our tandem trailer that was hauling 4 baggers. Got the contact info for CBT from a friend that thought they were open on Saturdays and called only to find out they were closed but did give an emergency phone. Called and the owner met us at his shop and took care of the problem. We had a tire blowout at 80mph on the way up the week before that tore the fender off. When I mentioned this to the owner, he said he thought he had one and gave us a very fair price. Great place to support as he not only fixed our problem but sent us towards home with a complete trailer. Highly recommend this business.

We were sent here by O'Reilly's in search of a wrench or socket big enough to tighten down my hitch ball to the weight distribution head. In the parking lot a super friendly guy said he knew the shop and they had everything we would need and lived nearby so we could follow him.
We walked in and we're helped immediately. All though the socket wouldn't fit due to the way the head assembly was made, we came to a different solution. We purchased a hitch with a smaller thread diameter allowing a smaller socket to fit and the gentleman stepped right outside and put the hitch on the head assembly for us. If you have a trailer if any kind, these guys can help you out.
