Overall a very disappointing rental experience.

I couldn't get the first bike I rented undocked, which necessitated a call. I was able to get that rental canceled and check out another bicycle without an issue.

However, after riding to the Beluga Overlook and securing the bikes with the built in u-lock, we found out that we couldn't get the key in one of the u-locks to turn. This left us stranded.

After multiple calls, texts, and voicemail messages went unanswered, during hours they claimed to be open, we were saved by a kind woman who happened to know the business owner. The business owner asked her to drop the bike off at his shop, which meant my wife couldn't end her ride in the app, which meant she couldn't rent another bike. I then had to return my bike early. The bicycle had no issue locking to the dock, but I was unable to end my ride in the app. I have reported the issue in the app and sent a text and haven't heard anything back.

I am a big proponent of bike share operations and was happy to find one in Homer, however I think that there should be better customer service for the price. I would recommend anyone considering renting contact the shop and confirm they will be available during the duration of your planned ride as getting stranded isn't any fun.

Super chill dudes that helped us out. The prices are great! Awesome trails that work your legs and are super fun! We caught some great footage of the run! Great for tourists! Oh! And they not only offer mountain bikes but fat tire bikes and some for the kids!

I spent a drizzly afternoon biking around Homer. I had a great time. I loved the green bike. Renting was easy! Cycle Logical is a great shop for bike enthusiasts or people like me who just like to cruise.
