Great visitors center. Good exhibits, bathrooms, ranger desk, and stamps for park passports. Gift shop is down the hill next to the restaurant. Parking is ample but you have a walk from parking to the visitors center. There’s also a lot of stairs, ramps are off to the side.

The visitor center was very informational. They had plenty space to sit to rest. There was an elevator to get to the lower floors.

Did not eat at the cafe but menu looked affordable for the area. They had plenty of space to bring you own picnic food.

There was a train stain but did not take the train out so did not explore that area.

The gift shop was a decent size with more offerings than other parks in the area.

Went to the dog sled demonstration. The dogs were so excited to show off their skills. There were several birthdays that were being celebrated. The information about sledding was very informative.

The wheelchair accessible trail was nice view of local foliage and fauna. Saw birds and the Arctic squirrel.

The restrooms had running water and there were two separate bathroom areas on by the cafe and one by the main visitor center.

Spent two days at the park and was able to see everything we came to see. Had low mobility older adult and everything was accessible for her to see.

The visitor center was really cool. They had a great installation of wildlife to be found that was informative. However be careful getting the bus tour during the shoulder season. When I visited, the route was closed at mile 43 and we barely saw anything or had any meaningful stops during the bus tour. Be sure to check the roads are open beyond mile 66 to be able to take advantage of the bus tour.

The horseshoe trial, McKinley trial which are at the entrance of the Denali park were much more memorable to hike.

Highly recommend checking the visitor center out. They have a lot of information about the trails if you are planning a hike, or if you like animals, they have information about all kinds of animals here like grizzlies, mooses, & more. Also they have a history section in the center explaining how Denali became a park. There is also a film about the sled dogs of Denali, as well as the animals here. The rangers are very nice and friendly. Very cool place to check out, a must do.

I live this park and the Visitor Center. It's well laid out and everyone is super nice and helpful. Nice hikes, the Sled Dogs are a must see. We took the bus tour that goes 42 miles into the park and it was awesome. We saw Momma Moose w/calf, Grizzly Bear, Caribou, Arctic Squirrels, Dall Sheep, and a bunch of Ptarmigan. Highly recommend. The Denali Peaks were visible for us, rare but we got lucky.

The place for you to get all your updates before heading into the wild. Lots of parking space and clean restrooms. Very close to the bus depot from where ask the tours start. A nice bear in the entrance to welcome you!
