After 20 years of hard work, our old HVAC had finally given up. Cracked heat exchange. We had problems with the AC for the last couple of summers, too. So I called three different places. All three were reputable, and all offered some comparable bids.

We went with Rick at Den-Son because his team has been servicing the equipment for years, and because the research I did on what he proposed was, IMO, some of the best on the market.

I have a close friend who does HVAC in Chicago. I asked his preference on manufacturer. He straight up said go with Trane. My extensive research mirrored his opinion.

I bought the whole package. Had it for five days now and it is SO much better than what we used to have. Extremely quiet. Very efficient from what I can tell

And the Den-Son installers really did a nice job of fixing up some ducting problems. They adjusted the intake, some venting issues, etc. Now when the fan (did I mention how quiet it is) is running, I can literally feel a slight breeze, even in the middle of the room away from the vents.

So do your research, and make sure to put Rick and the Den-Son crew a chance on your bid.

My furnace went out at 2 a m. on one of the coldest days this season. I called the after hours phone number at 3 a.m. Den-Son called me back just after 8 a.m. and a service tech was on the way.
The furnace was repaired and running again by approximately 2 p.m. the same day.
I've been a long term customer and this type of service shows why I will continue to be.
Nate did a great job on the repairs and Rick made a follow up call by 5 p.m. to check on the furnace.

Had an overall great experience with Den-Son. They made sure we were happy with everything. Had gotten a quote from another local company and I didn't quite agree with them saying we wouldn't need a panel upgrade if we decided to switch to an all electric hvac system. When Rick came over he confirmed my thoughts that we would need to upgrade the panel if we went all electric. That helped me gain trust. Also had a family member recommend them too. We went through a few different quotes over a few weeks because the Trane products for sale were in the middle of a changeover to a new refrigerant. Decided to go with a dual fuel system. A few days before installation, I realized the system wasn't eligible for the tax credit. I think i mistakenly only looked at the Seer2 but not the HSPF and never said anything to Rick about wanting to obtain the credit. Rick and Miranda tried their absolute best to help me out but I ended up going with the original plan. They got it set up and also helped me raise up the outside unit since I was regrading the slope in my backyard. It's been almost a month and I'm very happy with the system. I really appreciate all the work put in by everyone there. Thank you!

Nate came out promptly to address our issue. We went with Den-Son because the prior homeowner left all the service records and they've always taken care of the heating system and now we plan to continue using them.
