Mikey came out and diagnosed our unit in our rental. He was very thorough, professional and a great guy. We decided to have a new unit installed and James and Jack came out to install the unit. These two guys are great and work well together. Very meticulous and thorough with their job at hand. We love Depriest, over the years we've even talked our two neighbors into purchasing new units from them. Definitely the best in the business with great people working for them.

These people are fantastic! My A/c went out, and it was 80 degrees in my house. I expected a 2-3 day wait as the weather was 90. They were here in 15 minutes. The guy diagnosed the issue and installed a new capacitor. The new capacitor came from the factor with the connections reversed from where they should be. After checking the whole system and reworking the capacitor, I was up and running. My bill was $155. The next day, my German shepherd heard something outside. When I went out to look, they were back, installing another capacitor “just to be sure”since the other one was wired wrong from the factory. They didn’t charge me a thing. It’s nice to see a company that takes care of their customers. Almost everyone on my street has a carrier a/c from Depriest. Their service is fantastic and the people are great to deal with. If you need sales or service, I would highly recommend them.

Be aware! My elderly friend recently called them to come check her unit out, they told her she would need to replace the entire motor. After i found out, I told her I'd like to get a second opinion . So I did. When the other company came to diagnose the issue they were able to fix a small switch that had been cut . They didnt even charge much for the fix. Compared to the $750 Estimate that had been given her by dupree, this was substantial. I called the office to speak with the owner which handed me over to some girl whio works the there and she had the most nasty ,foul mouth, cursing me out. Then she proceeded to slam the phone down on me. All I can say about this company is they are very unprofessional! And I would always get a 2nd opinion when dealing with this company. Trust your instincts.

Made a service call for $155 as my AC was leaking. The tech was very nice and stayed around 45min to diagnose and repair. A small piece of insulation was wet and he took it out and told my husband he would come back to reinstall it for no additional charge. Even noted it on the invoice (no mention of additional charges). He was not directed to remove or do anything outside the scope of the service that day. Called back to get the small piece placed back as we were told, and received a call that I had to pay a fee of $150 to do so.

I inquired why there would be an additional charge for something that was done on the $155 service call, and was told that charge was only for the service. Since I was not informed that removal was a further charge (I would have told the tech to leave it), something was done that was always going to cost additional fees without my knowledge. I could have replaced it for a minimal amount if needed or simply let it dry. Now I’m forced into replacing the small piece of insulation myself.

The tech did his job, but I feel that the company was grossly overcharging their customers with hidden services and I’m not able to trust them any further. I already used them once before for yearly maintenance, but I’m going with another company now because of this. Shame on them.

Breath of fresh air to deal with folks that deal with you so fairly. All the employees we dealt with were so great and knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend for good service at a fair price. The two that worked at my house were great. I know who to call if I ever have this type of problems again. We just spent nearly $5000.00 with this company. When we asked them to come back to check the second unit again, because it was not working even though they said it was; the service guy first claimed if he had been the first guy he would have seen that the unit was leaking Freon onto the coil and we should look to replace it. I went out into the yard and called my husband to let him know, the man came up behind me and started talking over me and stating no one is perfect. I excused myself from my conversation and told him I was having a private conversation with my husband I would like to finish. He said he didn't have to put up with this and said he was leaving. He packed up but continued to be rude. When my husband called the owner, the owner says the service tech told him I accused the owner of being a thief. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. The service tech is making up stuff so that he doesn't look bad. Surprised the owner wasn't even interested in what my husband had to say. Terrific, now we have a new unit that is not working properly and an older unit we paid them $250.00 to check out, but apparently this tech could have seen it was no good. To bad the first guy wasn’t as good. Although I do remember he was polite.
WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WOULD RATHER PAY ANOTHER TO SERVICE THIS NEW UNIT FROM THEM.
Maybe the service man said I called the owner a thief because when speaking to my husband I said we have had several problems now with this company, and the owner quoted different prices for the same unit. One price to me, $2000.00 higher than the price he quoted my husband.
UPDATE: It is not the mistakes we make in business but how we fix them. The owner called back and sent out his best tech to fix the situation. And he did, in a polite, professional manner, and left us feeling if we should have problems again, we would call them first. Kudos for making good on a bad situation.
