The Destin Chamber really try's to help its local citizens and businesses as often as they can! A great resource for folks with fantastic people running the "show"! They have been a very good partner over the years! The comments on "Red Tide" and Hwy 98 construction are echoed by everyone (including locals), but has absolutely nothing to do with the rating of our local Chamber.

Never coming back! Hwy 98 is a DISASTER. We will go somewhere else next summer. We’ve been in gridlock EVERY DAY! Total Gridlock!!! I have better things to do with my time. Good luck with your failed experiment- Hwy 98.

Red tide is here in full force. Here for fall break with family from Indiana and smell, dead fish, and respiratory problems experienced by all.

Been bad all week mirimar beach.

This is beyond control of visitors bureau, but I truly believe the reporting of the extent of the problem is being restricted. I spent hours scouring the internet before driving 12 hours to get here and there was very little in the way of information online. Now I am in the midst of it, and little is being said in the local media, and I can’t find anywhere board of health, noaa, etc where up to date reporting is being done. Plenty of effort put into making sure everyone knew hurricane spared Destin, but nothing said about this .Shameful
