Absolute scammers - I never signed up for this service and was informed by PSEG that they can find your account # by looking through the mail and switching your service themselves. Partial shame on me for not diligently reading my bills, but I was charged WAY more than necessary for over a year for way above market supply charges. Reporting to BBB.

Ridiculous! First my bills kept going up until I started paying $300 a month. I live in a single family home with one other person. I called Direct Energy to cancel. For some reason I didn’t feel confident that my service with them was cancelled even though I asked 3 times and the rep told me it was. I called back 2 weeks later and sure enough there wasn’t even a record of my call. After that I did cancel but now received a bill for $1400! They said that it was because I was paying budget billing and owed that much. How is it possible that I underpaid on my budget when I was paying $300 a month! Also NYSEG charges were less than 1/3 of what Direct Energy charges when I called NYSEG! I highly DO NOT recommend!

SCAM - After A while I noticed they take $102 from my electricity bill of $158, so if I never made the stupid decision of accepting my bill would've been $56. They will convince you - telling you they don't charge. Of course! Because they try to be snick and have PSE&G charge you for them. So it looks like its actually your electricity company. KEEP IN MIND - THAT THE ONLY REASON WHY IM GIVING THEM ONE STAR IS BECAUSE ITS NOT LETTING ME PUBLISH IT WITHOUT IT.

Sam artists.

They keep computer calling every day. I finally answer and they tell me I need to sign up for a fixed rate with them or my rate will go up every day and act like they are the only one who can do that.
I have a contract for a fixed rate with another supplier
