They call it Hog Island because they have huge treadmills with 100's of thousands of hogs running on them 24/7. Thats actually what generates the electricity. Not reactors. The hogs that cant keep up get taken up the road to the packing plant.

Better than hot springs. Nothing cleanses the body of toxins like gama photons. I agree with some of the other reviewers...security guards were a bit much. Don't harsh my mellow. Will go back.

I have no problem with the service dominion provides. They have always been reliable. However, there is a very serious and dangerous problem with their employees. They are supposed to use Hog Island Rd. to get to the power plant. A lot of the workers do not use this road, and instead travel Burnt Mill Rd. I have never in my life seen such reckless and careless drivers. The speed limit on Burnt Mill is 55, they regularly exceed 70-80 mph. They whip around drivers going the speed limit on a solid yellow line. They ride drivers back bumpers and blast high beams. I have had several incidents happen to my family and I. Just this morning one drifted over into my lane and almost went head on with me. One tried to pass me, and another car was coming, and whipped in front of me almost clipping my front bumper if I hadnโ€™t slammed the brakes on. My neighbor was hit by one flying around the corner speeding. My daughter was hit by a worker in front of our house, he went over the center line and went head on with her. It needs to stop before someone gets killed again. In past years, there has been four deaths on Burnt Mill Rd. Iโ€™m posting this because I canโ€™t find an email or phone number to contact the appropriate people. The people of Burnt Mill Rd. are absolutely fed up with this.

It's so and so the only problem is all the power they make here is put in batteries and then shipped to area 51 but the real prize is the toxic waste that they have turned into a slip and slide the location of it is top secret but one day I'll find it

I came prepared for sight seeing with a Geiger counter and a radioactive suit. The security guard at the front gate was extremely rude, and turned us away. Highly disappointed, this would've never happened at Chernobyl.
