Dr. JR has helped my body, mind, and heart to heal in a variety of circumstances. The first time I visited was when I was going through a painful bout of varicocele which his course of 3 acupuncture treatments dealt with completely. He's also helped me to process the grief after losing my Grandma and later my job. I've seen him when feeling "stuck" and "off" as well as to treat chronic cystic acne. All of which he has played a central role in resolving.

He goes above and beyond in his practice offering a solid base of Tradtitional Chinese Medicine yet informed by Western medicine, Ayurveda, Curanderismo, and Sinergetico. JR has a open mind and an incredibly big heart; a much needed combination for a competent healer.

He sees people, not patients. He is flexible in his schedule and in his pricings when possible. He believes strongly in the partnership between patient and practitioner, believing we are our own healers as well. I cannot more highly recommend him.

Awesome experience, had acupuncture done by Dr. Heiz for some overly tense muscles in my neck and back.
