We got quotes from 3 different companies. Two quotes were similar for the cash price, while the 3rd was about $9k higher. We chose Eagle Point Solar because of the cost, we felt Chris Hoffman was very personable and honest, and they worked with us on obtaining financing options we were looking for.

We were having a new metal roof installed, and they scheduled the installation to begin soon after the roof was completed. They needed to install a piece of conduit along the roof that could not be run through the attic, and we didn't want it to stick out, so they found paint that matched our roof color and painted the conduit. You don't notice it unless you're looking for it.

Eagle Point Solar communicated very well during the project, keeping us up-to-date as things progressed. Chris followed up a few months afterward to see how things were working, if we had any questions or concerns, and gave us some company swag.

The overall experience was excellent!

Our neighbors got solar so it peaked our interest however they had nothing but problems with the company they chose. I met a very nice and professional young man who was working on a project in our area. Spoke to him and he got Eagle Point in contact with us. What a wonderful experience! We first met with Daryl and we're very impressed. He answered every question we had and explained the process completely. Then Chris the project manager was amazing. Any time we had any questions he answered very quickly. We had a slight glitch with zoning but they handled everything! It delayed our install but once that was over they got it done asap. Everyone that worked on the project was professional. Even the trenchers made it look like the never dug anything! Then Dennis came out and programmed and we are good to go. I have already spoken to others and highly recommend this company. The materials are best quality and they are all amazing to work with. Wish I could give them a 10 instead of a 5.

We received proposals from four different solar companies, and we chose to go with Eagle Point Solar.
Cost was a major factor in our decision but wasn't the only one. We wanted an experienced solar company that has a proven track record, does not sub-contract, and that would be there for ongoing support and services. Having a technical and project background myself, we were very interested in the design, engineering, and the specifics of the solar system that Eagle Point would build for us. The Sales, Design, and the installation teams exceeded our expectations on how this project was managed and executed. Each team is very knowledgeable and friendly. There was timely and constant communication on all phases of the project.

Please Read the last part of my post, I have made some significant changes.

My 79 year old father-in-law had a system installed. The installers were great and personable. They did a fantastic job and the area was cleaned every day. Great people and staff. The owners though are a completely different story. Poor Poor Poor. Keep making appointments and then 15 minutes prior, they cancel. As an idea, they installed 3 Tesla batteries so this is a large system. Been installed for over a month but not working as no one from the office can explain. My father-in-law is not tech savvy and he explains that to everyone he talks too on the phone. They expect him to start the system from his phone but will not even walk him through it. They have scheduled to come out 4 times now, never showing up. Something always come up. Funny how when it came to money, they could show up, but to offer any types of personal support, it is crickets. I would not buy a system from them. The installers were fantastic, the office just doesn't care, they got the sale and their money so why make an effort?

I wrote this before I knew that Eagle Point had not dealt with my father in law on the initial system. It was Shine Solar, they grossly underpowered the system and they are the ones that took the money and ran. Solar never had the decency to even come visit the site to get an understanding of what was needed. Eagle Point has made many concessions to help my father in law, still not happy about missed appointments and 15 minutes notice they won't show up. I did write a review for Shine Solar and would never recommend them. I would recommend Eagle Point. Every business has weaknesses but they have been willing to help out and get my father in law up and going. Even as far as coming on a Sunday to instruct him on the Tesla app.

Eagle Point Solar was great to work with through all phases of the project! Have always been responsive to my questions before, during, and after installation. Utility company raised rates 50% 6 months after installation. Glad I had a 100% energy use solar system in place! Thanks Eagle Point Team!

The whole process was easy and we knew exactly what to expect. There was good communication from Eagle Point throughout the process to keep us informed of what next steps were.
