This might be the best company I’ve ever had the pleasure to do business with. At the beginning of June I discovered I had a roof leak, I called 3 roofing companies to give me a bid on installing a new roof on my home. East Coast Roofing was one of those 3 companies I called. The company’s manager Ivan scheduled to come by and assess my situation and give me an estimate, in the mean time I drug a huge tarp up on my roof to attempt to cover the damaged area. Ivan came when he said he would and even redid my tarp so it would hold and protect my home through a few days of rain while I got estimates and attempted to deal with my insurance company. He certainly didn’t have to go up on my roof and do that, but he did not even knowing if I would give his company the job! I did use Ivan’s company East Coast Roofing and I couldn’t be happier! They were the most professional and hard working group I have ever seen. They showed up on time, worked so hard to get me a dry roof and did everything they said they would! I love the product they installed and their workmanship was incredible! I would never hesitate to use them again and will refer them to everyone I can!

East Coast Roofing just replaced my roof and they did a fantastic job. Unlike most other roofers they offered 160mph shingles for a very small additional charge over the more common 130mph shingles. They also were able to do the work promptly instead of waiting 4 to 5 weeks. The project manager was outstanding in his honesty and communication. Don't see how you could do any better. Best value in Palm Bay!

I used this company for my solar project. I have to say they go out of the way to communicate right up until you become a customer and make that payment. Well then that is where the rubber meets the road.

it has been about 8 months with my system and I have tried and tried and tried to communicate with them to NO avail. See even the owner does not return emails or phone calls or text messages. Yet prior to the project being done he was johnny on the spot with return calls and saying all the right things. "This is my personal cell phone", "Customer Service is extremely important to me" etc etc etc.

Well just as one would be worried about, after payment they become ghosts and WILL NOT return calls or answer questions. It is sad because they put up one heck of a front in the begining and I am a details person. I did as much research on this company as possible and did not find any alarming reviews.

If I would have seen this review I am writing now I would have been more hesitant to work with this company if I am being honest. It is totally unacceptable to have a company GHOST a customer in this climate of solar products coming on more and more.

It is sad because as solar becomes even more popular a company that can maintain good customer service and receive positive reviews from past clients has to worth a million in advertising. With so many companies out in the market to have customers who are happy and can speak positively on your company would ease many potential customers, and business would be stacked up high.

Sadly, as you can see from my history I am a real reviewer and I have been viewed over 1 million times. If you are considering Solar I would think long and hard if this is the company for you. This is a major investment and one that should not be taken lightly.

Do your own math, work your own numbers based on the quotes and the forecasts they give you for the benefits you will see as always ensure that you do you homework. The workmanship was not bad the speed at which the project was completed not bad, the promised results and the promise of being here to answer questions or review issues HAS NOT BEEN KEPT and this is the alarming part. Once they had my money I did not exist to them any longer.

I am posting this review for those of you who are considering them or shopping around for a solar installer company to work with.

It is my intent to help to ensure that future customers are aware of the concerns and the issues that come when you do business with East Coast Roofing & Energy.

I would be more than happy to share more in-depth information along with email histories and text histories with this company for anyone that is considering them. I only did my communications with them via written forms except a couple of phone calls from the owner of the company (Jamey Johnson) who was as I said very hands on and very helpful right up until the contract was signed. It was at this point that he turned into a ghost along with the company emails and website attempts to contact.

Please reach out to me if you are interested in seeing the histories I mentioned of communications with this company and then the instantaneous drop off of communications with this company as soon as the project was signed for.

Ivan was a pleasure to work with. Professional and very helpful with questions and concerns. The crew that installed the new roof were fast and efficient completing the job in one day, including the clean up. Ivan checked in throughout the day and showed up the following day to go over the yard a second time ensuring that all debris was gone. I highly recommend.

The East Coast people did not know to put in a separate breaker for my solar. the only contact I have, Flynn Larson, will not contact me to give me the information I need to start by FPL Application, and my load of $30,000 starts having to be paid tomorrow. I have not been happy at all with the service or their communication
