What happened to this place? Did the original owner sell it or something because it feels completely different. I was looking for a bolt. but couldn't fine anyone to help. When I did find help, it turned out to be no help whatsoever. When I finally found the nut, I noticed the bolt I had was a little shorter than the ones they sell despite having the exact same number on the top of the bolt. I went and asked a lady about it. She said everything would be fine and went back to talking to a co-worker. I knew I should have left and went somewhere else but I didn't. I bought the nuts and went back home to finish working on the door of my car.

I went to to screw in the bolt and it doesn't fit. If the lady would have helped me, I wouldn't have to go back tomorrow and get my money back. I then, regrettably, will have to go to Home Depot or Menards. I hating having to do that as I would rather support local business but not if they aren't going to have people with knowledge in the store. I want people who know what they are talking about, while also being too busy to provide any actual help, to help me. I want to be able have all of my basic knowledge questions answered. If this happens, I will gladly return my business to them.

I don’t mind this place, it’s been in the area for a long time, but the brown skinned African American woman who’s the manager rubbed me the wrong way. She had a bad vibe about her and then she literally pushed one of her customers because she said she was in her way annd she “didn’t care if she was rude to her” and cursed at her. The customer was an older woman and I don’t know what started their argument, it must have started before I got there but you should never push any of your customers out of the way, especially an older elderly woman. Apparently she called the police on this elderly customer and the situation was handled but no matter what, if the customer is not posing a threat to you actively you should never put your hands on a customer and curse at them, especially if they’re decades older than you. Just gave me bad vibes and makes me not want to come back. Need another manager in there.

The store manager at Ebel’s Ace Hardware goes above and beyond the call of duty and there have been false claims of harassment about her which need to be redacted that are false claims of poor customer services. There are customers who hate to see her excel. I ask that you please examine this wrongful accusation immediately. Thank you for your time

Took my broken windows there October 28 2024 for repair called them on November 15 2024 see if windows was ready said they couldn't fix them. I why didn't u call and let me know.icalled Apex window repair they came out gave estimate fixed them in four days never going back to Ebel's.

I love ACE. First of all, big major congrats to them for holding on in a tough retailer market. I prefer smaller format stores over big box and the fact they haven't been eaten by the other is a testament to their strategy. And they often hire incredibly helpful staff. Jon helped me find everything I was looking for and was so kind. And the guy who checked me out, he was a gem too. Great job! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lots of nice employees here. Very helpful and enjoy cookies. Needed a few cabinet hinge screws to finish a project and they had them and I didn't have to buy an entire box, just 8 that I needed. Awesome!
