Our experience is based on just visiting. We live over at Rock Ridge apartments currently and stuck in a least for another 7mo. My husband wanted to move to Encantada before we signed with Rock Ridge Apartments but I like the feel of Rock ridge it’s less apartment feeling, I lived here 6yrs ago and it was familiar. I regret not moving to Encantada. I never even gave it a chance. Now I don’t have a lot to complain about Rock ridge is nice but they are comparable in price to Encantada and from what I have seen Encantada has a lot more to offer, from the free covered parking spot, the ability to pick your own accent wall, movie theater and an amazing gym. What I value is this complex is letting us apply now to get the process started and then put us on a wait list so we can get the apartment we want in the location we want. I read reviews before I went in, and I know that with any apartment building there will be downfalls, issues, loud neighbors, things will break and sometimes it takes time to get it fixed. It’s life. That doesn’t bother me. We’re excited about moving to Encantada. I was bummed to see that people can’t really personalize their entry ways, I’m curious if your allowed to decorate your balcony for the holidays? It be nice if they allowed benches or seating outside the front door. Or a plant…But i understand why they can’t. The apartments are beautiful, a little higher in price but it’s clear your paying for the heated pool, or the massive dog park, or all the other amenities. It’s like a little village in there I love it and best part is I like it’s near my kids school. So it’s worth paying more for my family. The girls in the office were awesome Kayla is adorable. Young but I can see that girl will be a manager or something later. She was very professional and sweet. I didn’t get the name of the girl working with her but she also was just so relatable and friendly. It was refreshing. I met the maintenance supervisor to, I can see why so many reviews on him he isn’t shy and is so pleasant to chat with. He greeted us before we even came into the building. I don’t think I have ever met a more friendly maintenance man. I really hope the cooperation sees the team they have at Steampump and celebrates them. I replied to an email and within seconds of sending it the manager called me and introduced herself to answer the question. I was surprised no one does that anymore. It made it more personable and I appreciate the extra effort. I’ll leave another review after I live there for a while to update everyone. So far first impression was great. Thank you guys! We are excited to live there and praying for the perfect apartment so we can sit and enjoy our days by the pool, mornings at the coffee shop and nights by the fire pit.

I am very pleased with this place, although I do wish the dog park were better maintained, as there is often leftover waste from irresponsible owners. One of the standout amenities here is the exceptional maintenance team, particularly John Staub. John is incredibly honest, humble, and hardworking, consistently providing high-quality repairs that truly last. I sincerely hope the office recognizes his dedication and awards him for his outstanding contributions. John and his team greatly enhance the beauty and functionality of this complex, making it the wonderful place it is.

I was so delighted to have such positive interactions with Jennifer and Kayla at the glorious, magnificant Steam Pump location. These two ladies, in addition to another gal, not only set the stage for La Encantada but they were an "ambience" that my daughter and I felt welcomed by.
We are so excited to be a part of this community for this time in our lives.

This place was terrible. This was supposed to be upscale luxury living, thus the inflated rent price. The property needs major maintenance and repairs. It’s falling apart and no one fixes anything. The “Security “ gate did not even wk for the first 9 months Of my year lease. The pool , gym and theater are also closed for “maintenance most of the time. My Apartment was not even cleaned prior to move in- disgusting. My apartments fire alarm never worked, my ceiling fan would not turn off, my glass shower door fell in on me while showering, the floors had paint all over them, bathroom mirror had a huge white smear that could not come off. It took 9 months and 5 requests to have it replaced. The screen door was just laying against the wall on the patio on move in? Both toilets did not flush or work. No Maintenance available so the assistant from the office had to come try to fix it. Oven and microwave still had old food crusted on them and had never been cleaned - at move in! Garage disposal did not work- had to be fixed twice and still doesn’t wk. The refrigerator continually leaks and would flood the kitchen floor. They did not ever fix it. They tipped it up with something underneath. Then it would leak inside the refrigerator all over the food and ruin it all multiple times. It was a nightmare living there. Don’t do it or you will be sorry.

Encantada Steam Pump is a good place to live and the management and the staff are very good. They are very responsive to any maintenance requests. I am living in these apartments for last 5 years and I enjoy living here.

Today we were helping our daughter find her new home. Rodney greeted us warmly. He was funny, knowledgeable, very helpful and professional. After touring multiple apartment complexes, our daughter felt most comfortable at Encantada Steam Pump. It was Rodney and his first impression that really stuck with us. Our daughter felt assured that if a problem ever arises, Rodney would be quick to help her. He put her, and our, minds at ease.

The area is just lovely with the mountain views, and the staff was so professional and courteous. We feel as though we are on a perpetual vacation.
