It’s really hard to keep it short when talking about the great experience of working with David Beam and the Energy Services team for my new furnace and AC system because there’s so many stand-out areas!
To start with, David himself, as a salesperson in a technical area not only has deep technical understanding of heating & cooling systems (from his >24 years of installing and servicing them), he also has a natural, easy way of relating with people that is not pushy but at the same time is efficient, professional and respectful. He was my first contact with Energy Services and he made it easy for me to have a sense of trust that I would be happy with the result of going with the company. He quoted exactly the range of configurations we had discussed - no surprises - and after a quick call with him to finalize the system choice he sent me the contract on a Saturday so that the system could be installed the following Tuesday (as my heat had not been working the prior week with more cold weather on the way).
The install technicians, Matt and Anthony, showed up promptly as scheduled, told me exactly what would be done, answered the questions I had, and worked efficiently as a team (one on the AC, the other on the furnace, then both together as the system came together) to remove the old units, install the new system, and have the heat running and everything cleaned up in 8 hrs flat. Again, no surprises!
Just to have a new system in and working that fast by two professional and respectful techs would have been enough, but when I took time that night to look at the new system I can honestly say it’s the cleanest and most professional hvac install I’ve seen in this house - the clean organization of cabling & piping, straightness of alignment, detail quality of seams and interfaces between elements, and just overall execution is at a level that I rarely see and very much appreciate. Anthony and Matt’s quality of workmanship and attention to detail in the installation is truly impressive, as you can see in the picture.
The system so far is working quietly and keeping such an even temp throughout the house that it’s easy to not even think about 😃. I’m so glad my neighbor referred Energy Services to me, and so appreciative of David, Anthony and Matt for their quality work and professional approach.

My furnace stopped working on a particularly cold night, so I called Energy Services. A technician by the name of Steve M showed promptly the next morning to discover an overheated blower motor on an 18 year old existing furnace. Steve was so nice and very detailed in his summary of the furnace and what would be the next steps. After discussing the different pricing options between repairing the blower motor and replacing the entire furnace, we decided to purchase a new furnace and have energy services install it. Steve put us in touch with Brian a rep from energy services who again went over all the models and pricing for us and then scheduled install of the new furnace the following morning. Alex R and Jon were the two install professionals that arrived early the next day ready to install our new furnace. They were extremely professional, friendly and detailed. Their housekeeping was exceptional during removal of the existing furnace and Installing the new unit. From wearing booties throughout the house, to laying down tarps/blankets on the floors and stairs, and taking their time not to damage any walls or finishes was extremely appreciated. Alex R and Jon took the time to explain what they were doing and consulted us on future operation and maintenance procedures, as well as a valued overview of the warranty provided. The entire team was exceptional from the initial call and inspection through final installation and payment. I could not recommend this company more, and that means a lot considering I have 15 years experiences as a general contractor building anything from schools, bridges, hospitals, and hotels to large warehouse and data centers. I have seen what good companies look like and I have seen bad ones throughout my career and I can state for a fact that Energy Services and their employees are an exceptional company. I will be utilizing their services moving forward and requesting this team for all my HVAC needs moving forward.

Energy Services replaced my furnace and ac in February 2025. I talked with 3 different companies before I chose Energy Services. David was very thorough and focused on my needs and budget. I had many questions and David made sure I was totally comfortable with my decisions. The installation crew was amazing and they took their time to do a beautiful install and cleaned up when they were done. They took the time to explain the new system and thermostat. Being a home owner, sometimes everything breaks down on you. Sometimes all at once. I had to replace both furnace and central air. Energy Services was very helpful and gave me a good price. Not only that, whenever i had a billing questions or needed to setup appointments for services, Anne Budas was really helpful. She has been very professional and her customer service skills is top notch! Have been using Energy Services for years for maintenance. Have always been great and easy to work with. Recently had furnace replaced which required some sort of pump because our house is so old. The installers Jeff and Alex R did a fantastic job and were super helpful in explaining exactly what they were doing and why.

Wonderful, wonderful service! Our furnace wasn’t working and we called another company (name partially withheld but it has the number four in it) who sent out a tech who couldn’t find any problems or error codes and could not have been less helpful.
Energy Services sent out technician Chris the same day. He easily found the problem and the error code and fixed it immediately. Chris was so friendly and knowledgeable. Explained the problem and how it was easily fixed. Did not try to upsell us duct cleaning (like four….. did) just fixed the problem and left us as lifelong customers!
