The place looks very interesting, but unfortunately, we were unable to visit. Despite the clearly stated opening hours (closing time 17:30, last entrance 17:00), we were denied entrance at 16.55. It seems that the staff members are cutting their working hours to go home early. I hope that either the opening hours will be corrected, or the staff's behavior will improve.

Environmentální centrum je součástí budovy informačního střediska. Úžasné expozice, vstupné zdarma a zajímavé informace. Rozhodně doporučuji navštívit! Na IS moc milá zaměstnankyně, která poskytla užitečné informace a předala informační materiály. ?

Každý rok nás tato expozice překvapí něčím novým. Klidně bych přidala hvězdičku navíc. Pokaždé se sem ráda vracím.

Moc se nám s dětmi centrum líbilo. Celý dům je hezky opraven a rozdělen do jednotlivých expozic. Přízemí je věnováno lyžování na Šumavě, další expozice se zaměřují na Jelena evropského, Čápa černého, Rysa ostrovida. Další fauna je taky k vidění, včetně geologických informací.
Skříňky na věci přijdou vhod a nemusíte s sebou tahat bundy. Město má nové turisticko-výchovné místo. Doporučuji.
