I gathered 3 estimates for a radon mitigation system and understood the work thoroughly. Environmental Doctor came in and offered the best estimate and also offers veteran discounts. Scheduling went well and the install was smooth. My levels dropped from 5 to .5 upon initial testing. Anything below 4 is ideal in Ohio. I have peace of mind in my home now from the system and feel great about finishing my basement now

Great service from Teresa Howard who set the appointments for us to test the air quality and Radon gas mitigation.

Ethan, Technician was responsible for setting up the meter and explaining the test process, which takes a few days.
We talked about the fan on the outside of the house and Ethan advised that the mitigation system is running fine.

I decided to have the fan replaced, since the system was installed 6 years ago before we bought the house and I want to avoid having to do another test in the months ahead if the fan quits working.
Ethan quoted me a a reasonable price for a new fan and the radon gas test for air quality in the house.
I highly recommend Environmental Doctor for any homeowners who need / want to measure air quality in their house.

John picked up the meter after the Radon test was done and Teresa sent me the report on Jan. 7, 2025. It was a very organized procedure and we'll use Environmental Doctor again for the next test in two years to make sure our air is safe.

They removed a great deal of debris from my vents, and spent a great deal of time breaking through a clogged dryer vent. I made an appointment with Environmental Doc to get my vents cleaned and to do an inspection for possible mold. Brett came out to meet me and do an initial run through of the house. His time was limited that day, so he came back on another night, after hours on his own time to do a more thorough inspection of my attic and the other parts of the house that he didn't have a chance to inspect previously. In the end, he didn't end up finding any definitive mold contamination, but we did follow through with the vent cleaning. I was impressed with his dedication to trying to help without asking to be paid for any of the two times that he had stopped by my house to inspect. When the crew showed up to perform the vent cleaning, they were also professional and talked me through the process. They accomplished their task in a timely manner and cleaned up all of the mess that they created before leaving. Since the cleaning, my house feels and smells cleaner when the AC is on.

I've heard nothing but bad things about businesses like this, but found the staff that I worked with at Environmental Doctor to be transparent and honest throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of their services and would also recommend them asking to work with Brett if he was available to help. Thanks to all of the staff that helped.
