This facility is extremely important to the Hinds-Rankin-Madison county area. The employees there (8/18/2020) are helpful and courteous. While it is difficult to get them to answer the phone, rest assured they are hard at work and if you show up they will help you unload all your old paint, chemicals and the like. I wish Madison County operated such a facility.

I do not know where the previous reviewer went I called because of their review to find out whether they take old gas - they do. I went today 3/10/20 and they were friendly and took all of my old gas and motor oil, as well as fluorescent bulbs, batteries, and electronics. They provided great service!

This place is great. They took old paint a d florescent soap bulbs. Location is wrong in google, it's at the south west corner of park-not half way up university.

Tried to bring old gas to this place which is a hazardous waste drop off and they told me they cannot take it. What the hell is this place for? Horrible service and the guy on phone is unprofessional. Don't waste your time on this whatever place.
