We got estimates for a solar system for our house in Granite Bay from a couple companies, and decided to go with ES Electric. Besides getting a good feeling about Eric & the crew, I really appreciated that they did not just give us whatever system that their company had come up with for a typical house. They looked at our place and came up with a solution that took advantage of our available space and came in cheaper than the other estimates for very similar capacity (even a little more). Eric was really good to work with, and the system is performing well. Everything is nicely installed, and I expect to upgrade to some sort of battery system in the next few years, and the system will be able to handle that. Highly recommended overall.

They're trying to screw over my friend that signed up with them but their sales rep designed and incorrect system so my friend cancelled the agreement and now they're trying to charge her thousands of dollars as a "cancellation fee" even though nothing was installed what so ever & they conducted improper shady business! Be careful of them!! Sales representatives working under them don’t know what they’re doing or they’re just flat out liars!
Having service requested from such an unprofessional company is a risky move.

Eric, his office and his crew were extremely helpful and thorough in installing a new solar system for our home. His initial visit was very detailed on the current use at our home, the recommended solar system, a full explanation of how billing works with PG&E and how to maximize our efficiency. Based on a couple bids, their system was very competitive and also inspired a lot more confidence. He had also come recommended from another home owner. They were also very patient while we had to organize financing and a contractor to do a roof modification due to older construction design on our roof. The office stayed in constant communication with us. His team had the job done in two visits, and we now have solar power, an updated breaker box and an electric meter that spins backwards. Highly recommend!

Competitive prices, meticulous work, and family owned - what else could you ask for?

I had an existing 13 year old solar system and wanted to expand. Eric (the owner) came out and did a fantastic job to work with me on options that other vendors wouldn't explore. On the day of install Cody and Anthony gave incredible attention to detail even on things that most homeowners would never see. Kaitlyn (office manager) and Lisa (accounting) kept the business side of things easy and efficient.

I started out with proposals from 4 different solar companies. Estimates for comparable products and quantities were very similar so I went with the most local firm. Plus, a close neighbor told me they were happy with their installation from ES Electric & Solar. Eric coordinated necessary work with a HVAC company which coordinated necessary work with an insulation company and a roofing company. As well as with PG&E. Saving me a lot of headaches getting everything done by the various specialists. Have only had the solar for a few months now but am very happy with it so far. Love watching the meter run backwards.

I was referred to ES Electric & Solar by a coworker. My coworker had nothing but positive things to say about the business. I had several other bids as well. One bid was from Sierra Pacific solar and the other was from Energy Saving Pros. Sierra Pacific was very professional and detwiled,; however, they were about 40 % more expensive for the same system. Energy Saving Pros was professional; however, not quite as detailed as ES Electric & Solar. They were also about 25 % more expensive than ES Electric & Solar. The owner (Eric) is very personable and knowledgeable about all of the solar equipment. All of his staff were very friendly and professional and very hard working. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. The entire experience from beginning to end was terrific. I would recommend ES Electric & Solar to anyone.
