I moved into a new build and, or course, solicitors of all kinds started knocking at the door. One I sat down with, the other skipped our consultation and never heard from again.
I told this to one of the builders maintenance guys and he gave me Liz’s phone number.

Right away I could see the professionalism over the over companies. On the second meeting Liz brought in an electrical engineer who designed the solar system.
The solar system had a slight problem connecting to the app that was fixed quickly.
Regarding the solar itself, it paid most of my bill in September (which was hot) except for the minimum fees that Duke energy charges. August bill was under $100. It would have been less but I have a situation where one person likes it at 78 degrees and the other at 69. So the ac is working quite a bit but that is another story (btw, the electrical engineer told me about a soft start capacitor to stop the light brownout when ac starts up. It make a big difference after Installed one.)
I highly recommend and have recommended to my friends in the community

For years I have tried in vain to have my now 9 year old solar system serviced. I was continually told to go back to the original installers; no one else would work on it. My original installers went out of business years ago.

At one point a number I had called for this purpose actually returned my call. That is how I met Liz. Her number was still listed under solar systems, however she no longer worked in that field. In spite of that she set out to help me. She did!

She walked me through many things the original installer should have taken care of but did not. She spoke on my behalf; with me on the phone, to explain in “solar company terms” explaining what I needed. She took me step by step and made calls to, and reach the “right people” that I could have never made.

Liz was actually able to get a solar company out to my house to check on my system, two days after explaining my issues to her. Something I had tried and failed to do for years. The problem was fixed in 15 minutes. It was Liz’s knowledge of the industry, ability to speak to the companies on their level and her compassion and caring to help a total stranger; it made all the difference.
