Had a tough spot with a landlord/roommate not paying the power when I had been paying them and they left the house to stay elsewhere the moment the power got shut off. I called and explained my situation to customer service and asked if I could put power in my name starting from then for a month before I found a new place to go and they set me up with power... And also charged me everything the landlord had not paid, without explaining that this would be the end result. I complained and management did not care, the recording of the phone call reflected the same as I have explained prior in this note. Scandalous, not transparent, not about the customer but about their pockets. Be very careful and get what you can in writing.

Just want to know if I need to budget for 300.00 dollars next month. The last 3 bills have been the highest in 17 years. They said said the new increase was only maybe 20 30 dollars , we'll that's no where close. Mine went up a 100 - 150 doubled my previous bills. Along with the 10 percent rent increase that these places charge every year. Kings and landlords repeating history bad history is a shame .what next take our guns.

Waited over two hours on hold to pay a bill that EWEB messed up and sent to me instead of my tenants. They have tried for two months to fix it and EWEB can NOT get it corrected. His account still says he owes ZERO!
This is totally unprofessional, disrespectful and inappropriate. But they don't care they are our ONLY choice. IF we had choices then companies would be more about customer service and less about money!

Mixed bag. I've almost never had interruptions to my service and when there are they are promptly fixed, which is greatly appreciated.

The admin decisions for this entity are very strange. They made a new customer portal to access payment history and details that was very nice, but then they removed a users ability to access it if they dont have a current active address under service. This is despite the fact that I have a loan thru eweb. I have temporarily moved in with a roommate who handles service under their account so eweb decided to remove my ability to access my account to check my payment history, including for an active loan! This means I have no way of getting any details or status about my loan and they have removed my ability to make automatic payments. I was even charged a late fee because they deactivated a working auto payment service. So in order to be financially responsible I now must make manual payments in the dark and hope they are received and no charged a late fee. I must also go out of my way to contact eweb constantly. This is bad product decision making in 2025 and feels like a step back to the 90s.

Left me on phone after giving me wrong information twice by 3 different cs reps. Second rep never came back on line to finish giving me the answer. On hold for 20 mins each call and more. Apparently they are supposed to be working from home. No one can answer if my payment has posted. Someone will call me in 3 days about it. Something doesn't seem right. I am never late on paying and there are no cs people who can answer a simple question.

I had the luck today of being connected to a "Michelle" in the customer service department that has provided the single kindest, most concerned, and most responsive customer service I have ever received from any company I can think of.

I called wanting help with something incredibly complicated and time-sensitive, and Michelle truly worked her hardest to get me help - and as quickly as she could. In the end, I didn't actually even get the "answer" I necessarily hoped for, but the service that Michelle provided to me was far above and beyond 5 stars. She truly seemed to CARE. I hope EWEB appreciates her fully, as she's a rockstar.

EWEB does a good job. But they spend money on showy usage graphs that are not helpful. Because temperatures vary by month, customers who want to decrease their energy usage need to compare with that month in the previous year. It's not tough for EWEB to provide more rigorous graphs, if they want to help customers decrease usage. Makes me wonder. Do they?

I received a “Courtesy Notice: High Water Usage” on my front door on 9-19-23. The date of the meter reading on the notice was 9-15-23. They were nice enough to give me notice about my high water usage caused by a water leak, but decided to inform me of it 4 days later. However they failed to mention the water leak was right after the water meter. I did some investigating and found the water meter submerged in water, something the meter reader failed to make note on. I called EWEB and told them there was a leak right at the meter. They sent someone out to look at it and gave me no updates. I called them back and said that the leak was on their side of the meter and would fix it when they get around to it. Turns out the leak was on my side of the system hence the large consumption of water being read through the meter. Pretty dishonest company if you ask me. Their prices are already outrageous and even worse when they lie straight to your face.
