We bought a farm in Orange, VA. We found out that we had an in-ground propane tank. No paperwork, no identifying marks, nothing. So we began calling people to fill it. Several vendors asked if we owned the tank and we said it came with the house. EverGRO eventually told us they owned the tank, and proceeded to tell us that we had to pay twice the going rate to fill it. We need propane so we did it. After that we got our lawyer to contact them. Long story short they documented that they would remove it. Even had a contractor come out to survey and inform us what their process was going to be. Next thing we know we are being sued in court for the tank they said they would remove. This is not good business. The only thing missing from this story is all the back and forth between them and our lawyer. Bottom line they said they would remove the tank and are now suing us for it. We have it documented!!!

I have to say that the old time intercom system worked a whole lot better than their answering service they have now!!!!!! I have requested call back twice in the last week from the propane department and have gotten no response. Poor customer service.

Awesome staff, well-stocked store, good pricing. They've been putting on a series of sheep and goat producer meetings with topics ranging from breeding/artificial insemination, toxic plants, to surviving kidding and lambing season. Each session has had a very knowledgeable guest speaker with outstanding presentations, Q&A sessions, and refreshments. Highly recommended! 😁

I called to see if they had a particular product - they did - and also provided the price and location in the store. All of the information was correct, and I was in and out of the store in about three minutes. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable - excellent customer service.

Updated 30 July, 2020. The Orange store did not have what I needed, but Kevin arranged to have two bags moved from the Madison store to Orange, and they were there waiting for me when I went to pick them up. Excellent service.

Updated 30 September, 2020. One note to walk in customers - if the cashiers insist a particular item is not in stock, check with the warehouse. I was told yesterday that the store did not have any of something when I knew they did, so I walked over to the warehouse and they found five of the items for me. The accuracy of the inventory is not so good.

Employee helped me get prices on items, and friendly, made me feel great and they were there to make my shopping experience great, actually helped me carry out my bird seed and bag of corn. I really needed the help they didn't know I couldn't lift with my right arm, so helping me made it great, I will be back. Both employees were great, both female employees

This review is specifically in regards to their heating oil delivery. After calling and scheduling a delivery, a month went by and I noticed my inside temperatures were starting to drop. After checking the oil level (which requires me to go outside and actually measure the level) I noticed the 500 something gallon tank was almost completely empty. I called, and the representative cheerfully informed me my delivery had been inexplicably dropped. 5 stars for the cheerfulness, but negative 5 stars for the solution. One would think that if a company accidentally dropped a delivery, they would immediate schedule an emergency delivery for the next day considering the imminent frigid temperatures. Instead, I was put back on the rotation and to expect a delivery "as soon as we can" (in other words, I was dropped to last in line). So now, in additional to the astronomical price of the heating oil delivery, I am now forced to pay out my nose for the energy cost of running my back-up heat pump non-stop on the coldest most frigid days of the winter so far. Can someone please tell me why I am paying an arm and a leg for someone else's mistake, and why I couldn't be bumped to the top of the delivery schedule? I wonder if Tiger treats their customers the same?

Horrible propane service. Will happily take your money, lie about delivery, and leave you waiting WEEKS for delivery knowing you're low. It came with the house; can't wait to switch this service. Open to for better recommendations....
