Have visited Exile several times now and the staff are always knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They often have things you won't find in stock anywhere else locally and their prices are great, on top of that. We're repeat customers and have always had great experiences here!

I absolutely love this place. They have everything you will ever need. Prices on their guns and optics are extremely fair! Very impressed with pricing and the large collection of different guns! Also I know I can be very annoying at times, asking to see multiple guns even if I'm not buying right then but I have noticed with every employee every time they have always been very polite and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and they will tell you straight up if it's a crap gun which I love. Honestly gets you a long way in my book. I would give them ten stars if possible haha. I definitely recommend going to Exile in comparison to other gun stores, they actually treat you like a friend and I really appreciate that.

I'm very disappointed in the treatment I got from this gun shop by a lady I spoke with on the phone about my layaway plan ,I purchase a vepr 12 sbs through the layaway online which was over 1700$ and have paid almost 1000$ on it with having only 2 weeks to pay it off , after I miss one of my two week payments I was told that I had to pay the remainder of it off that day or it would be voided I asked if I could at least get the grace and chane of paying it off before the next two weeks when the planned ended and she told me no it's against store policy and that I had to pay it in full before store closes I asked if i could speak with the owner and she told me she was general manager , that made me feel like this company don't care anything about customers nor have any compassion of working with returning customers that spend there hard earned money with them , I had purchased there before and I have subscribed to there youtube virtual walk through which Ive watched every morning, one of the best gun shop has literally turned into the worst one for me over night with a lost. I think if I spoke with the owner he may have understood as man about my situation.

This business is unbelievably Great!! I wanted a CZ Bobwhite G2 southpaw 12 ga and found thru a google search. Never hearing of this company I googled them and found several hundred 5 star reviews and realize why now! I called and ordered my shotgun and the lady said it should be about a week and in less than a week my ffl said it’s ready to be picked up. Great people great prices and great service!

I had a Glock 43x MOS equipped with a $200 red dot optic, a $20-10 holster, and a $45 magazine extender. I had decided I wanted to trade in my weapon for a larger capacity and more duty-capable one, as I am working on becoming a Police Officer for Anniston PD. I went to their store 1-2 times, also with my friend so she could look as well. Upon looking around 1-2 different times, on the 2nd visit I decided on a firearm and went to trade in my easily $750 setup, which, being using but in amazing condition, maybe $400-500, was told for almost every firearm I picked out (470, 360, finally 260) that it was too expensive and because my equipment was used, and they were "wholesale" (isn't everyone?) that I could not get that for a all-in-all trade in. I finally settle for a $260 Taurus. Bear in mind, I have a permit and I am allowed to carry, but I am only 19. I go to the front and do a background packet (not realizing that I have to be 21 to trade IN my current gun) and when done a hispanic or Latina-orgin lady smartly says "you have to be 21 to purchase this" and for that I apologize. I turn around and ask to her: "can my friend do it, she's 21?" and she says "No, it has to be your parent" and so me and her leave. The next I come back with my mom, we go through, nothing noteworthy happens. I head to a pawnshop just to see what I can get, and they immediately offer me $400. I purchase (my mom) purchases a firearm for $330, and I get $70 back to get whatever (I buy a holster). We cancel the FBI paperwork with Exile Armory. A few days later, my friend, still wants a firearm of her own. So we go to Exile Armory, I have fun looking at possible duty rifles, and I hear a 50-60s white lady "yelling" at my friend. I walk over, and the lady is going OFF. I mean she is upset! She is now somewhat yelling at me and my friend about how we are trying to make "straw purchases" and they are "federally regulated" and how she will get my face and vehicle plate and "report it to the ATF." She continues making this point for a few minutes. My friend had money, was ready to do a background packet, and carry a firearm of her own. Instead, we got met by extremely rude lad(ies) who against all of our statements of both opinion and fact, and how I already had a gone from a different place, was insistent on us making straw purchases. Btw, we went to the same pawn shop nearby and she instantly got a gun (legally, obv) and now carries it on HERSELF.
The people here are not particularly nice, and are all about money. I have read through the 1-3 star comments and seen how the people of this business have replied to them being rude, vulgar, and carefree. As someone else said, and simply put, your just an order to them.
Even police officers (from Oxford and Anniston) dislike this place. It's not hard to see why.
Not all that it's hyped up to be.

This store has what is easily the best selection of rifles, pistols, and revolvers that I have ever seen. The staff are all kind and very helpful, They do not push you and try to sell you on something other than what you are looking for like other shops. Definitely worth the drive for those in the Birmingham area for the selection and prices alone.
