My wife and I have nothing but amazing things to say about FLCEA INC. Our experience with them from beginning to end was just superb. It was a very smooth process beginning to end! Their staff was very communicative, attentive and always responded to any of our questions/ needs quickly. Our roof got heavily damaged because of the hurricane but now, our roof looks even better than it was before! Not only did they repair our roof, but also our lanai, gutters & pool cage; they do it all! This company made contact as soon as IAN hit; obviously, time was the essence since I had damage and carp was needed, etc. I had someone else put the carp and they sent a written proposal-seeemed quite hefty at time for a new roof. They had all Chinese laborers that would NOT EVER speak-I am sure as advised-upon finished 3 intallment payments-one of their guys which would always inspect came and inspected. I had one of my own inspect and he concluded that there was a soft spot that needed attention and repair. I contacted the company immediately and they were dismissal but said they would send same guy to inspect the attic. Of course, he dismissed as my fallacy and with no arguments decided it was not worth pursuing. Work was finished either Dec, 2022 or Jan, 2023-signed up Oct 2022 and then Milton hit Oct, 2024 (about 1 yr 8 months later) brand new roof-shingles - and same area I pointed lost all these shingles plus other parts of roof---costing me
$ 1,500. When I contacted them they said they do not guarantee against any kind of hurricane. (could not upload photos)

During work always texting - not live main person-only assistant. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM---WAS NOT A LOCAL COMPANY NOR THEIR DEMEANOR SEEMS AN HONEST ONE.

Florida Clean Energy Alliance enclosed our lanai and front entryway. Very professional and great to work with. After the job was completed, Jeremy came over to double check the work and check in with us to see if we have any issues. So glad we hired them. We will again!

After the first sales call, our experience with this company was a real "challenge." Communication was horrible. Our relationship started about 3 months after hurricane Ian. Our roof needed to be replaced and we decided to also have solar panels installed. This company subcontracts everything except the sales call, quote and contract, which we didn't know. The price for the roof was the lowest bid, but the solar install portion was much higher. We went with them since they were local... turns out the sub-contractors were not local. The solar contractor was out of Sarasota and very difficult to work with. They messed up drawings, specs and permitting multiple times leading to months of delays. The biggest problems were first... after signing contracts, they came back and said they "accidentally" under priced the roof by $8k. I mentioned that the solar was about $8k over competition so should be a wash. No agreement. Eventually, we paid $4k over quote to get the job done. Secondly, some of the roofing material during construction was caught by the wind and put some small holes in our newly screened lanai. They sent two different people out to repair, but neither did the job. They said they needed to come back later. They never did. Last, we wanted to use the same company for roof and solar for warranty protection. They said they understood. After job done and paid, the said the warranty was "manufacturer's warranties". In other words, they lied. Additionally, they have a picture of our home on their photo gallery, which they did without permission. It is listed as a 7KW system. It is not. It is 5.3KW.

Attention home owners and business owners, do not hire this company. I did it after hurricane IAN and it was like facing a new storm. When they started to install the new roof they were not following the specifications that I had agreed with the person in charge and I had to contact the company. They would not return my calls and their office did not even know who was working on my property. I realized that they were hiring undocumented people and that is why they did not know who was doing my work. They are one of many who took advantage of our vulnerability after the catastrophic weather event.
