My wife and I were exploring some different options to make our home more energy efficient after our electric bills reached an all time high. We met with Lou from Florida Solar Group. After he conducted his consultation which took about 30 minutes, he was able to determine how many panels we would need to eliminate our power bill along with installing a new water heater to replace our old one and blowing more insulation in our attic. Our first power bill we received last month after being installed was $25 and that was the minimum charge Duke charges. Everything he promised was delivered and we are very pleased with the entire process! We would highly recommend Lou and Florida Solar Group to anyone looking to make upgrades to their home! Thanks again Lou!!

I’d give zero stars to Lou if possible but this “local businessman” preyed on his neighbors by tying to sell generator at more than double its original price during a or after a disaster. That’s price gouging and is illegal in Florida

This Review is being written for my sister with this ongoing issue we have been trying to resolve together.

Florida Solar Group was recommended to me by a family member. I needed a new roof and decided to also get solar panels as well to become more energy efficient all together. This job started on July 4, 2023 and till this very day the job is not finished. Florida Solar Group has not finished the job that they started.

My roof is on but, started to leak however after speaking with both companies who are blaming each other for this issue, The solar company is stating that the flat roof is not done correctly and the solar panels are not on the flat roof and, the roofing company is saying that the solar company didn’t use the right sealant to the roof and, that is why water is leaking though the legs into the house. I have not received my meter and it is still not connected with Withlacoochee River Electric. I have reached out to Lou several times to my prevail. He has not returned my calls the last time we talked he told me if I have a problem to reach out to him.

We have recommended Florida solar group to many family members, friends, and people we will no longer be recommending this company to anyone.

Florida solar group company hired wired up electric and first choice roofing.

I have records every email, text and phone call to prove this has been an ongoing issue and, absolutely needs to be resolved ASAP immediately. I have exhausted every text, phone call and email. I haven’t had these issues resolved for services that I paid for upfront in advance before the work was even started.
