If I could leave a review without any stars I honestly would. Out of all my years of working, this by far has been the worst experience that I’ve ever encountered. I’ve never worked in such an organized facility before.. most of the time they didn’t even know what they were doing or what they were supposed to be teaching so they’d play it by ear…which brings me to the horrible weeks of training, in which you learn pretty much nothing then when you go to production they expect you to know things that they didn’t even teach you during training. Next there’s one person telling you things go one way and another person telling you things work a different way. It’s very much drama filled, and the people in charge takes nothing seriously and they love treating new people any type of way and talking to them crazy.

The most unprofessional place I’ve ever worked. Constant talk about “setting you up for success” but when you ask, you get met with snark and attitude. No one gives a straight answer to a question.
I had one trainer who genuinely wanted to help. Can’t say I was the best at the job but the amount of drama and inside stuff going isn’t worth working here.

Unprofessional is an understatement. The staff and administrators are not trained to be unbiased and fair. There is no Open Door policy like most workplaces. The jobs training was uninformative, yet the staff treated new agents as if they were to know how to operate systems within first week. I dreaded coming to work for the simple fact of such a corrupt environment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND !

This was one of the worst companies I have worked for. Before signing my job acceptance offer, I was told that I would receive a 0.25 raise after 6 months. After a painful 6 weeks of training (which could be reduced to 3 weeks; we sat around a lot doing nothing at times) I was told that I would see that increase of pay until 6 months of being on the production floor (on the phone). They lie to you to make it seem like the job, environment and the people are great. They do not care about their employees. I was with out access to several things to do my job for 4 months and the issue was still not resolved when I resigned. You will not grow at all at this job and they put people who don't know anything and who are lazy in management positions. This job is all about who you know not what you know. I was so happy to leave this job because the environment was toxic. I dreaded coming to work everyday. I would rather miss out on pay than to be there. If you are considering working for this company please proceed with caution and find something else because this place is a mess.

Atmosphere and the hiring crew are always Bomb it's what happens when you get on that floor that makes you not want to really work there.

When I started working at Sykes I started with the promise of a work from home position later on down the line after six weeks I had been mostly through the training and was taking calls on my own I asked about when I would be ready to transition to the working from home and they told me that they had decided to start bringing agents back into the office rather than sending them to work from home. The whole reason that I took the job was so that I could work from home I was pregnant at the time of employment and knew that I was going to need to be close to a bathroom and have things that I needed close to me because I was pregnant so when they decided not to send me to work from home I decided to resign. Long story short there’s a lot of dramatic issues that go on here and it’s really not worth the $12 that they give you.

They constantly beat their chest about being a family, but will throw you under the bus with the sweetest smile on their face. Always going on about how "we don't hire people just to fire them" before you're out of training you'll already have several write ups. I honestly don't know what their goal is but constantly having people trained and quit seems to be their business model. The only ones that stay are the ones that have brown nosed their way to not being held accountable for actual work. Any sort of initiative you take is met with discipline as they are incapable of thinking outside of their manual. They want you to use a method of searching for what the clients want and specifically to what they are calling about. However people are so abstract that you could have what you think is the right answer only to be met with a write up or an insubordination strike. I thought that maybe it couldn't be that bad but it is, I dread every day I have to go in. Can not recommend if you're actually looking for a career.
