This is a fantastic place for gemstones. Lots of variety at a very good price! Our cashier (Nadine) was very nice. They open mid Oct - Mid April due to the extreme heat. Hours are 10:00 - 5:00.

This is the first year I’ve been to Gem World. Went two times on this trip. They have a huge selection of rocks, gems and other jewelry making items. Nadine checked out my order for me. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re headed anywhere near Quartzite you need to make a stop at this store. If you’re into rocks and gems, better plan on spending some time!!

I am obsessed with this place. They have such an amazing selection that it's mind boggling. Nadine helped us and was so knowledgeable and friendly and I really appreciated how much time she took with us to package everything up and help us find what we were looking for. The prices cannot be beat and we drove all the way from LA just for this. Thank you Gem World!

Great prices on gems, stones, stuff for jewelry, plan on spending a few hours here if you love rocks. They sell by the pound and it's pretty reasonable. For example I got a few pieces of chunky crystal quartz for $2.99 a pound, I spent $17 on a pretty good size piece.
update I had to come again before they closed down on April 29th for the season, they will be back in October. Today I found so many treasures to cherish....I was better prepared the 2nd time with a list of stones I wanted, I came on a Thursday so the store wasn't to crowded. Thank you Gem world ? I will cherish my crystals ?

I thought the other store in Apache Junction had cooler sculptured rocks. Seemed like they had just basic rocks everyone has. We had to show cashier almost every place where we got a rock to dispute prices. She kept trying to charge us higher.

Zero Stars! Our check out lady KIM refused to let us purchase all our items on the counter she said the line was too long and she had to hurry up, or people would start getting angry. Seriously? We had things we really liked that we wanted. Instead, we purchased what Kim allowed us to buy because customers in line were more important! That was a disappointment!
