Always fair and helpful. They take almost everything and pay a fair price. Fast to unload and have never had a problem with service. They know how to take care of the customers and they show it by doing the little things that count, they give you free water bottles after you cash out plus on Saturdays you get a ticket for tacos on sight . How awesome is that.? Who doesn’t love tacos!!!!

Don't bother taking your scrap here has been two days with no cash on hand yet they take your scrap and inform you after you unload they have no money reading reviews looks like this is a sneaky way to increase the profit margin how many people come scrap to get by day to day and these clowns are just stealing from them please go elsewhere if you want to actually get paid and not donate to these people

Danny Meyers is a thief, he owns Get Green and DeKalb Iron. We are a demolition contractor that has been in business for over 40 years and never had a worse experience than with Danny Meyers.
We used his company because he offered slightly higher pricing on metal and FREE trucking which turned out to be anything but free! The weights were coming back consistently light and at the end of the job he refused to pay us the final $17,500. We are currently suing him and his company for money owed! Please learn from my mistake and do not do business with them! I found Elgin Recycling to be very upfront and honest people, love doing business with them.

They are really good and they helped me a lot unload my things and friendly and clean as always and I see them always cleaning when I go and doing something and it was hot 🔥 🥵 out and they was still workering I feel bad for them when it's so hot 🥵🔥 out ,They prices are great sometimes when there's a different men working 😞

My husband takes all kinds of metal there and always gets the best prices, plus they stripped the wire for him there. If your looking to get the best competitive prices look no further they will match other places in town. I highly recommend this place if you want the best prices for your metal.

If anyone else took their scrap and got a bad check from them please contact me!!! Wrote two checks that bounced this last month only to find out they filed bankruptcy!!!!!!!!!
They stole over $500 from me!

Google take you to the store front which is locked and theres no reason to stop there. Drive inbetween the buildings take a left and another left. Park in front of a number amd someone will be out to see to it ur junk is taken care of. All the guys working are very respectful and nice. I am 7 months pregnant and They unloaded all the copper wire from the truck bed for me. The price was great. They were careful not to scratch up my truck which was really great. Next time i need to recycle anything ill be coming here to dump. They had a great system going. It seemed everyone had their place and job. Which made everything run smoothly and efficiently.
