I ordered #19 Cal Fire with sourdough bread, and my mom ordered the California burger. Both were huge, which is good because they were pretty pricey. Main complaint I had with my sandwich was that the chicken tasted a little weird, and too chewy. Overall though, pretty good!

Greatest sandwich place I’ve ever been. I was fuming about the price until the most beautiful man on the planet delivered the largest sandwich I’ve ever seen. The flavor combo was crazy. The West coaster sandwich is perfect. Place has good gluten free options too, get the love salad, it was also huge. Be careful of the entrance tho, hill will scrape lower cars.

Great sandwich spot, there are nice sitting arrangements and looks like a family run restaurant. So I ordered the turkey sandwich and added bacon to it. The sandwich was made to perfection, everything tasted good. I also ordered a side of hash brown which was very greasy and I felt the oil used to fry the hash browns were old so won’t recommend the hash browns but they have some good sandwiches and the size is huge I had to share a sandwich.

Stopped by on our way down the PCH. Oh my God this place is the bomb!!!

. I have to say when I first walked in I was a little skeptical of how good and fresh the sandwiches would be but oh my was I impressed!!!

This is the best damn sandwich I’ve had in a very long time. The Ingredients are fresh, from the Vegis to meat. Good God! I just wish I could take this home with me back to Atlanta. What a great sandwich. Service was great with a smile and a great atmosphere of coziness. You can even see the ocean from the seating inside.

There’s also outside seating as well. As well as a pet friendly area. If you’re on your way up or down the coast this is definitely a stop!

Ahhh. Long day. Long hike. Hungry? More like, hangry. When I walked in to Gherkin’s I wasn’t expecting to find the sandwich of my dreams. From the vegetarian sandwich options on the menu to the sundaes that can rock your world, there’s something for everyone here. Not only are the sandwiches absolute masterpieces, the service is extraordinary. You can just tell the employees want you to find your perfect sandwich match. And I found mine. I highly recommend stopping in at Gherkin’s for great food and a great time.

I was down in Half Moon Bay because my old pal'et Clair Watt-Urrevivèll and her Hubdub Bonsuavè need some help with an unruly neighbor. Well, I got the gist of the problem over the phone and brought along Walter my Boar Warthog and turned him loose in the Urrevivèll's backyard. The three of us then went and had Amazing sandos at Gherkin's Sandwich Shop, and when we got back Walter was digging a hole in their yard and there was a shoe and a pair of ripped up bluejeans next to where he Walter was digging. We looked around for what could have been there, and not finding anything...it was determined the neighbor hopped the fence and ran smack dab into Walter! I don't suppose he'll be any trouble after that.
