I am so happy I got solar with Glyde. From the beginning they were real and not sales-ey. Their communication has always been above and beyond. They walked me through the whole process making sure I understood everything and that all my questions were answered. One of my favorite things has been that they actually work with an attorney’s office who, at tax time, sent me the entire packet for my accountant and were available if my accountant had any questions. The tax breaks are fantastic and they have followed up with me to make sure I’m claiming everything I can on my taxes, know how to track my solar, etc. They even followed up with me personally over a year later. They are fantastic and I would highly recommend them.

Update: our sales rep visited us to help rectify our situation. While we'll have to wait and see about production, they were eager to fix the drain pipe issue quickly and make sure we were taken care of. I will continue to update this review as I see promises fulfilled. For this reason I moved it up one star, so far.

DAMAGE DONE TO HOUSE
Glyde sold us solar a year ago. Supposedly, their solar engineers configured our roof to make 110% of our electrical use. Well, a year later, we can ascertain using software from NREL that we were only given enough panels for 75%, leaving us with a payment every month. A Glyde rep happened to stop by a few weeks ago, we told him, and he said he'd follow up. Never did.

Now, we've also discovered a water leak in our house because the installer, hired by Glyde, drilled a hole right through our house drain pipe when he installed the panel. When we called Glyde, guess what - no response. My husband had to literally fix it himself, pulling the wire out from the middle of our pipe.

This company has no interest in anything but a sale. They will promise a certain output but not deliver. If they get something wrong, they won't answer or fix the problem. Very untrustworthy. So disappointing because we typically don't trust these types of people, and they've proven us right.

Glyde has no customer service, and is not a company I recommend.

When we decided to get solar panels for our home we went with Glyde Solar. Shawn Benitez our sales representative explained everything to us perfectly and easy to understand. We had spoken to other companies and when they sales person left my wife and I still had questions. After the install of I had any issues I'd get ahold of Shawn and he'd respond quickly and my issue would get taken care of in a timely matter. The install was done quick and the installers were very professional. Anand followed up to make sure we got all the tax credit we were entitled to. I highly recommend Glyde Solar.

Finally had a solar company that I felt comfortable with, that came to my door. A very polite and professional sale rep named Bree is my first contact with Glyde Solar. She was very helpful answering and asking questions about my current electrical usage and ways to control/reduce use and cost. Her talk with my electric company gained me credit to account for their oversight. Bree in turn set up an appointment for me to meet with Melissa a couple days later. Melissa and I further discussed what I had in mind for a generation amount that I would like for my system. The whole process to set up my Glyde account, after qualifying was explained clearly. No pressure at all.

Glyde solar then sent a team member to survey and measure my property. Took that information to the engineers who made a layout for me to see and approve. The engineers went to work on drafting it up. Kept informed the whole time, even checking in to make sure I did not have questions about progress/process. The panels showed up and two days later Ben and Robert showed up to install the system on my roof. Very polite and knowledgeable they are. It took the two of them one day for installation. Robert gave me a quick informative about what is what to the electrical. Then a little bit of a wait for all the permits to be checked and ok’d. Then came Jesse and the inspector to sign off on the system being in code and good to go! Then the most lengthy process, my thoughts, waiting for electric company to give the all clear to activate the system. Two months total(signing contract to turning on my system) is all it took for me!

Now I am watching and learning all aspects of harvesting the Sun for my electric independence. They gave me what I asked for and now seeing the benefits. I cannot thank Bree, Melissa, Ben, Robert, Jesse and all the engineers, not seen, enough. I HIGHLY recommend Glyde Solar for your pursuit to electric independence. THANK YOU to all team members!!! Straightforward and professional!!!

Sean Romiza was extremely knowledgeable and willing to work around our availability. He made sure to answer all of our questions until we were satisfied. There was no pressure for us to make an immediate decision and we currently are waiting for the final results of our solar project

Anand and Nick were both great. They communicated everything very well and were available to answer questions at ant time. Install was awesome, the workers were very aware of cleanliness and left everything better than when the arrived. If you're thinking about solar, give these guys a shot.

We were very pleased with the customer service Anand Abelson provided to us. We have had the Glyde solar for about a year and a half and have no issues with the service. Anand came to our home to ask about our experience with Glyde and gave us tips on filing our taxes to get the tax credits we have coming. We would strongly recommend Glyde.

I got my panels installed and I couldn’t be happier! Melissa was so awesome, she answered all my questions and everything has been exactly as she said it would be. I haven’t had an electric bill since having them and I’m paying less a month for the solar than I was before with my electric. She’s been in contact with me throughout the whole process and even stopped by to make sure I was happy after installation! Definitely recommend Glyde Solar
