We decided to go solar and we found go solar. Our first representative Juan pretty much lied to us from the beginning till he left the company. He advised us that we would be producing 101% of our power. But then there was a change and we couldn’t use all the panel that were first quoted and they had to re do the contract with less panels. First question my wife and i asked was “will it still produce the same amount?” Juan’s reply was “of course we just have to do some adjustments” he sent us the new contract and stated it was for the the less amount of panels. In actuality in that contract it stated now it’s 87% production. Per text messages(which were provided to the new rep) he stated we wouldn’t be paying till our bill was at zero. The new rep states they will be sending a check but i don’t think that makes up for the misleading information they provided. I’ve had to reach out multiple times and they finally came out and rewired the system and at the point i was producing on the higher end of 40kw to just over 60kw. Not to long after my production lowered to 30kw. Call and a tech came out and stated they will reach out to Tesla to see what is going on. Again i had to reach out over a month later and that’s when i was informed of the contract discrepancy and was told it’s cause of the shading of the higher roof. There are no trees and they get sun from morning till evening. I disagree with that assessment. Beware as they will reel you in and not be upfront with you. Lack of communication, delay in taking care of any issues and now we are stuck with a solar system that their employee lied to us about.

I had a 21KW system installed by Go Solar Power in February 2024. In choosing a solar company I found them to have far more experience and better reviews then most other companies. Our Sales person David O. was much more knowledgeable then any other company we consulted. I am not easily impressed, as I do very significant research before a large investment like this, but David had serious in depth answers for any questions we had from beginning to end of install and afterwards when we had other questions. His knowledge was by far second to none and I felt very comfortable dealing with him and Go Solar Power. The system was built to exacting standards, impressive actually, since we have a large system with twin arrays. Everything was perfectly level, perfectly lined up with the sun and performs exactly, will actually, better then specifications. The install crew was very courteous, and worked from 7:00AM until after dark on several days and had the entire system built and ready to turn on in about 7 working days, start to finish. The workmanship on the arrays, wiring and electrical control/access boxes was very clean and tidy. I have heard and seen horror stories about bad setups with electrical boxes and wiring done in a messy and unprofessional manner and Go Solar Power's was done expertly and clean. All county/state inspections passed first time around. The system has been running for 6 months now with zero issues, producing power as expected and on the clearest sunniest days producing maximum output for a good chunk of the day (peak sun angle). I cannot say enough about how professional and knowledgeable everyone at Go Solar Power was, especially David O. and Evan P. Even today when I have a question about our system they are quick to respond, long after the project was finished. I highly recommend them and will be using them for future projects on my property. Go Solar Power installed solar w/battery backup on our property in January 2024. We are very pleased with their professionalism & excellent customer service from start to finish on our solar project. The folks at Go Solar take great pride in their work every step of the process. We'll continue to enjoy peace of mind that we have solar to power our home during the day and battery reserve to power our home at night for years to come. I shopped around and received several quotes from Tesla and other local solar installers and Go Solar provided the lowest price for the 400kw panels. Kenneth was available to answer my question anytime I called. Lucas helped coordinate with my roof contractor so the brackets that go under the tiles were installed prior to the tiles. I’m During the install of the panels not a single tile cracked. The install team was well experienced and professional.

I strongly recommend anyone interested in getting solar panels to at a minimum get a free estimate from Kenneth. See for yourself that go solar is customer centric.

Go Solar was a great company to work with - it was a lengthy process and all along the way they kept us informed, had a team assigned to us and responded immediately to any questions or concerns. We got a new roof first, and then our solar panels. It took FPL and the city quite a while to give us the all clear (3 -5 weeks) but now we are producing our own electricity 🙂 Hopefully our next bill will be close to zero.

With all the trials this country has gone through, keeping with a down to earth business model is very hard but Go Solar Power came to the rescue after making many phone calls to 10 different solar companies.
