Do Not Use This Company. They are overpriced, disorganized and will charge you for partial services without any remorse.

I hired this company despite the negative Google Reviews, as the President of the Company stated the reviews are based off of a customer that took advantage of their services, stating he ensured to get a certification of satisfaction from the negative reviewer that he provided services to.

This clearly is untrue, as I personally have dealt with his poor business standards.

The disorganization, lack of communication, untimely response to performing services, lack of following instructions when providing services, along with charging for services after they clearly have not performed them properly…also, don’t count on the quote they provide you over the phone. I gave him proper dimensions of the parking pad I wanted to fill with gravel, instead of f driving out to the job site to measure in-person, he input measurements I provided over the phone without viewing the site. By doing so, upon delivery of the first 21 tons of limestone, he stated I will need an additional 21 tons due to the ground being soft beneath the gravel. Knowing I required additional gravel, he continued to spread and pack the gravel, thus now requiring an additional service to not only add gravel, but to spread and pack it. Due to the mishap of improper calculations of gravel, he offered to spread and pack the second round of 21 tons complimentary (which I accepted and ultimately why I ordered the second round from him, as I Even though people make mistakes, he seemed eager to do right by me).

Upon the second deliver of gravel, they delivered it several days late, spread it and left. They did not pack it. When we contacted the President, he texted with a reply that he thought they packed it and would make sure to pack it when they installed our cross ties.

Upon delivering the river rock (as shown in the pile in one of the photos), somehow they thought delivering the rock on top of our freshly layer gravel was a wide decision (despite the fact that we asked the President to deliver the rock to be “dumped on the ground above the gravel and cross ties”). Clearly this is not on the ground, above the gravel and cross ties. Due to this lack of management, communication, they not only delivered the river rock several days late, they delivered it and dumped it directly on top of our gravel. Digging it up with their truck tires, leaving us with a mess to clean up).

Due to the lack of professionalism, I immediately canceled the service for them to install cross ties, as I now did not trust their ability to perform the installation properly. Upon cancelling the cross ties, I texted images of the gravel and what they left us with, along with requesting a refund for the cross ties upon cancellation. I additionally asked for a partial refund for the compacting of the gravel, as this clearly is not compacted and looks horrible. (Not to mention they do not use a professional compacting machine that vibrates while compacting. They only use a roller, which is not acceptable when charging over $1,000 for this service).

The President of the company and I are in dispute of what my refund should be, as he refuses to refund the payment to compact the gravel. I will now have to take him to small claims court to receive my funds, as you can clearly see in the photos, this service was not performed.

The enclosed photos reflect what they considered to be a proper installation of gravel, post packing it. As you can see, they drove their truck over the gravel, which left massive tire tracks in it.

There are other companies that provide these services, I recommend using them.

Initially asked for rip rap. Ended up with ?limestone? . Salesman said cantaloupe to football size...more like 3-6 inch stone and lots of mud. Maybe 1% larger stones. NEVER TAKE DELIVERY IF IT'S NOT AS EXPECTED! SEND IT BACK! I highly recommend DON'T BUY FROM THEM!

Godfrey Environmental staff was very friendly. We had no problems with the order, delivery and install of our driveway products. We will use them again with our lake house at the end of the year.

DO NOT USE!!! Absolutely worst customer service, didn't deliver what they were supposed to, didn't spread or pack like they were supposed. Stated he messed up and didn't want to fix it so he'd send some money back and still haven't received any money back.
