This was a meal like you just stepped into Granny's kitchen on a Sunday to visit. There is no menu on Sunday. Get in line Choice a meat, fried chicken, baked chicken or ham, choose 2 sides, a good southern verity. Add a roll or fried cornbread. Plus, we ordered a salad bar to our meal.
We arrived just after Granny's opened. Good thing this place gets busy. It was a nice drive and worth it for a delicious meal.

Granny's Diner has a country fried steak that shouldn't be passed up by aficionados. It's arguably perfect.

All of my sides were good, down to the white gravy and toast!

The tea is delicious and their service is excellent - I shall return.

We were passing through on our way home from Florida and stopped for lunch. My wife had fried chicken and I had pork barbecue. Both were excellent and a insane bargain. The menu apologized for raising prices, but this was the best deal we had all week on a meal. If you want a good meal, stop in to Granny's if you are going through Samson, Alabama. You won't be sorry.

We had fried chicken, fries, and onion rings. The kids had chicken tenders and grilled cheese sandwich. Everybody loved everything. The best fried chicken and onion rings i have ever had! Everything was cooked hot and fresh and very reasonably priced. Our waitress was awesome! (Wish I could remember her name) Highly recommend. We will stop here every single time we go back and forth to the beach. Thanks granny! 🙂 (and of course the rest of the staff)

Outstanding food with great prices. Very welcoming people. We stopped here after leaving PCB and headed home. VERY glad we did. Burgers were some of the best. We will always stop here if we're nearby. Don't pass it up!

Go here!! The food was so yummy and our server was super sweet. The chicken salad wrap was tasty and so was the ice cream. 10/10 recommend! 🙂

We were driving through on our way back home from the beach and knew that it might be a while before we see another place to eat so we decided to stop when we saw that they had country cooking. We weren't sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. This place might not look great, but looks can be deceiving because the food was outstanding. We came in at about 1:00 and to our surprise the place was pretty empty for it to be lunch time, and with as good as our food was, I'm not quite sure why. Me and my best friend both got the two-piece white meat fried chicken plate with fries and onion rings, and if I had realized how good their onion rings were I would have just got all onion rings LOL my kids ordered a grilled cheese with tater tots, and the other one ordered chicken tenders with onion rings. All the food came out fresh and hot and everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything on our plates. Also our server was very sweet and helpful and gave great service. The inside of the building could certainly use a glow up, but I hope they never change anything pertaining to the food because we will definitely be stopping back by the next time we come through samson.
