This is the best APU on the market. Do not buy anything else, nothing beats this set up they make in-house, they have their own CNC machines making their own parts, electrical harnesses, paint shop, hoses, etc. This facility is a manufacturing facility not just an i stall shop like others. I've been enjoying my new APU so much, it keeps me warm or cool, it charges my truck's batteries and keeps the engine warm over night. It has a vacation mode where it will keep your batteries charged until you come back to work. It is amazing, I highly recommend it.

I’ve been doing lots of research on APU companies and Green APU stands out against the competition, their Japanese three cylinder Kabota diesel motor has twice the power & BTU’s as the most popular two cylinder motors, they also assemble the entire unit (except motor) right here in the USA.
Eric & Brad were friendly and courteous, they gave me a tour of the assembly process, which helped me decide that GREEN APU was the one to go with. Will be updating later.

Green Apu staff did it again! Went above and beyond. Can’t say enough good words about the product, staff and support. I had the APU installed on my 07 Freightliner Coronado and my controller failed for some reason just after the warranty expired and I was ready to pay for a new one. Parts fail and I understand. Yet, they stepped in and acknowledged that it was a premature failure and replaced it at no charge. Thank You Green Apu!

I recently had Green APU replace the unit I had on my truck. I chose Green APU for the stronger engine combined with the ability to get non-proprietary parts. No regrets! I drive the mountain west to Miami, FL and everywhere in between. The unit starts first crank EVERY TIME. High elevation, cold, humid... it starts every time and runs strong. The precise temperature control is amazing... switches from heat to a/c as it needs automatically! The staff are awesome to work with! So friendly I consider them friends. A breath of fresh air in this industry. Look into Green APU! Money well spent.

the Green APU unit itself works much louder than the Thermoking and even the main engine of the truck so that drivers from neighboring trucks ask to turn off the APU unit because they can't sleep, most often, neighboring drivers simply leave for another place because sleeping next to a green apu is not possible even in neighboring trucks, other drivers who couldn't sleep can freak out and cause harm, so I try not to sleep on truck stops. at the Amazon warehouse the yard driver demanded to leave the yard or turn off Green APU while the cargo is not ready yet. Earplugs help me sleep, but they put pressure on my ears and I don't rest good, so I only turn on Green Apu in the very coldest and hottest weather.
the oil change kit costs twice as much as competitors from Thermoking!
Green apu - not reliable unit! AC with only 1985 work hours can stop at any time and after couple days star work again!!
Service green apu - can’t find out this problem, they check ac unit almost every week, every month, change already all parts relay, temperature sensor, controller, twice or thrice check coolant and leak … and you will just pay pay and pay for nothing, when you call they will send you to technical support 24/7
Green apu technical support 24/7 - you will call them - no answer any time
Outside is hot 107 Fahrenheit - green apu shot down again…

the first time when they couldn't find the damage to the wire right away they changed everything including the control unit for $2000 - although the problem was only in the wiring! that is, they first change all the parts and only then look for the real reason why the cooling doesn't work
now the air conditioner's operating time is just over 2000 hours (83 days only!!!) but the tube material used in manufacturing is of poor quality and it was worn through to a hole the cooler leaked out because of this the compressor broke. the time to replace the rubber tube and compressor is already 4 hours and they haven't done it yet!!! the only thing that works reliably so far is the Japanese Kubota engine everything else has been replaced 100%.
