We ordered 15 yards of Lawn & Garden mix. Chris arrived right on time, then backed in through an acre of weaving road just like a pro and put the dirt exactly where I wanted it. We're looking forward to adding compost next time. Good job!

We purchased a full dump truck load of compost in the winter to use on our garden. Now that several months have elapsed we are disappointed with the amount of weed seeds in the compost. It's full of weed seeds and has made much more work for us. I included two pictures, one of weeds that came up in a parsnip patch and another of a pile of compost that was leftover after spreading the rest on our garden, as you can see it has sprouted many weeds. If you do get their compost I recommend re-composting for a year so that's its brought up to a proper temperature to kill weed seeds as their process leaves many intact.

Compost is FULL of plastic. I bought 4 yards for my huge new garden last spring, when I started putting it in my vegetable beds I noticed it was chock full of plastic bits. Bits of garden tags, old veggie ties, bread ties, small plastic bag remains, you name it. I can’t believe these guys are selling this for vegetable gardens, and I am so at a loss of what to do now that my beds are covered in it. I’m learning about micro plastics I am super bummed out. I want my money back but I assume it was too long ago. Do not put this in your edible garden.

I have used their products for several years. I discovered them on a tour with a Master Gardener group. I have used other bulk composts/materials from other suppliers and was frustrated with rapid settling, large quantities of sand mixed in, man-made dirt (mostly wood/forest material with a little mushroom in it). GET was a wonderful surprise. If you get one of their blends with soil (like a 50/50 soil-compost blend), it is real dirt; not man-made! I have used different blends for different applications; lawn, landscape, and garden. I have been very happy with all the products. Oh...and you can get the blends with or without dairy manure --- and they know the source of the manure (lots of places that sell bulk blends have no idea where the parts came from). PLUS, they are recycling and composting tons of material for and from our community. I highly recommend them.
