These guys were great. I drove a 2015 Toyota Prius, and the car was starting to lose power, eventually I got the warning lights on my dash telling me to pull over and check the engine. So I called these guys to schedule an appointment to replace my hybrid battery, which didn’t sound cheap. Before I took my car in, I noticed my 12volt battery had a lot of built up acid around the connectors, so I replaced that first, which reset the warning lights. I was so happy that I didn’t have to spend as much money on the hybrid battery, so I called Greentec Auto and spoke to Eduardo to cancel my appointment. He said he was happy it seemed fixed, but warned me that my hybrid battery pack would still need replacement, and that the warning light would come on again within a few weeks, maybe a month or so. Well, it did. Several weeks later the warning lights came on again and I scanned my car; it was the hybrid battery pack again. So I bit the bullet and took my car into their shop to have the hybrid battery replaced, and before they did that they scanned my car and found that the ignition coils and spark plugs needed replacement, and that if they installed the battery first without fixing the plugs and coils, it might fail again at some point in the future, voiding the warranty because they warned me ahead of time to fix it. So I ran home and replace the spark plugs and ignition coils, called Eduardo up again and he said they could take me for an appointment the same day. They fixed it up in just 45 minutes, and it was cheaper than expected. Now my car runs smoothly again, with more power than when I bought it. I’m very pleased with the outcome, and I’m happy they took me in so last minute so I didn’t have to reschedule my appointment. I highly recommend their service.

I would highly recommend using Greentec. The pricing of the battery that I had replaced was the best that I could find elsewhere, installation was at a much lower cost compared to another quote, communication was excellent and the battery was manufactured in the U.S. Also, I had confidence in the quality of the battery and the installation since EV and hybrid batteries are what Greentec specializes in.

I found Greentec online after a very frustrating experience trying to get information regarding warranty and pricing of a replacement hybrid battery from our local Toyota dealer in San Francisco (I finally got warranty information from Toyota USA who ended up calling our local dealer!). BTW, the warranty for a hybrid battery for a 2014 Camry is 1 year and the cost somewhere between 2-4k (the dealer wasn’t sure even though I gave them the make and year of the car).

I sent an email to Greentec and they promptly replied (within a couple of couple of hours). After sending emails with follow up questions (also answered promptly), I received the warranty information for a new replacement battery (3 years) and a quote which was half of what a local mechanic wanted to charge (Heidi at Greentec was great). After placing the order for a new battery (no deposit asked for up front), their local shop in Hayward contacted me to set up an appointment.

The morning of the appointment, our son was ill and his doctor was able to see him but we didn’t know if we could get back from the Greentec appointment in time. I called Eduardo at Greentec and he was great. He fit us in earlier and the work was done with plenty of time to spare for the doctor’s appointment.

Again, I would highly recommend using Greentec.

Contacted Tyler via the live chat on their website, drove to Hayward to pick up the battery, installed it the next day and everything went perfectly. The battery is great, service was great, and I feel good about the 3 yr warranty.

Just took our Prius to these guys to get the battery replace. Literally after 2 weeks of replacement the car threw numerous codes and started to stall out while driving. Now the car won't go over the speed of 20-30mph. I would sincerely suggest another outfit for you hybrid car maintenance and battery needs.

I had a great experience, I called them day of and they happened to have their 1-year-warranty battery in stock. I went in and was in and out in about 90 minutes. Alejandro was helpful figuring out my options, and helpful in their little lobby (w/ Wifi).

My original 2015 Camry SE hybrid battery lasted 145K so kudos to Toyota's reliability and quality. My car was driveable on gas power for a few days, but I could feel the engine was working overtime without the hybrid battery's help.

I took it in to Toyota's service and they quoted me just shy of $5K for an OEM battery. I found Greentec online and the reviews were good so I decided to give them a shot. The car was serviced today by KC (great guy, efficient, knows what he's doing) and I was in and out in 1.5 hours. I can already tell the difference with having a new battery. Plus, a new one (not refurbished, though it's available for a cheaper price) cost 45% less than the dealer's quote so I'm pretty happy. I'll recommend this shop to friends and family should they ever need a hybrid replacement.

Great company to keep an Older Prius running. I decided to invest in a new cell battery pack after having issues with previous installer unsuccessfully replacing Hybrid pack 5 times and 1 time replacing inverter motor in a span of 2 years on my 2005 Gen 2 Prius.
I have researched other places, other technologies finding Green Tech the best Option and most convenient.
Day 1: March 6, 2023, Purchased The Hybrid Battery Pack with Brand New Cells & 48 Months Warranty a day before, Same day I placed order, I received a voice-call from KC. Scheduling was a breeze, asked for following day window.
Day 2: March 7,2023 I drove down with the old battery (core) and swapped it 1.5 hour. KC, the Tech, was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was a real pleasure working with.
Here is the kicker: For the *First time since brand new* I was able to average 50 mpg (15 miles) until I hit traffic. The best is that I was able to drive in stop and go traffic for solid 15 minutes in electric mode only before the gasoline engine kicked in. For me Green Tech is Solid 5+ stars! Keep the good work.
*5 Months Review* So far been good. Purchased a 48 Months Warranty Hybrid Pack.

Day 150: Car still runs well, not getting the 50 mpg, solid 43mpg solid. However, this may be due to Engine aging to 1/4 Million miles yes (250,000 miles same Engine-Transmission). So far so good, no engine codes car running smooth.
