I have had the pleasure to work with Greenworks Environmental since 2022. The knowledgeable employees with Greenworks Environment helped me to get the answers that I desperately needed regarding my house and my health. For years, there was water and mold damage behind my walls that I was not aware of.

From the time we purchased the home, my family began to experience sicknesses that confused doctors. After years of searching for the right company to investigate my home, I finally found Greenworks! Greenworks Environmental completed a whole house assessment where we spent hours looking at every little detail of my home and identified the areas of concerns. Over time, with engaged collaboration and specific mold testing approaches, Greenworks identified several areas of remediation recommendations.

During the numerous remediation projects, Greenworks kept me informed, educated me and provided refences for resources for me to research to start to heal our health. They were diligent and incredibly professional and clean and provided exceptional documentation and photos needed for insurance and legal purposes.

I had talked with many companies before Greenworks, and many downplayed my concerns. If I have not found Greenworks, I would still be searching for answers. The entire project lasted about 2 years, and my family has finally started to feel better by addressing the health impacts of prolonged mold exposure. This process is overwhelming, scary, and expensive, but Greenworks was incredibly supportive and reassuring to me from start to finish!

Greenworks put in our drainage system about 10 years ago so I called them because we were getting liquid into our basement. They quickly scheduled an appointment to investigate. Later on that evening a terrible odor started and I called our plumber who came and said it was the sewerage line coming into basement.

The next day I called Greenworks and they cancelled the investigation appointment and told me how to clean (disinfect/deodorize) the basement. Thank god for Greenworks and especially Tracy who I was dealing with on the phone.

Victor and the team at GreenWorks are great. After having work done outside our home we were left with a strong chemical odor we were assured would go away after a few days. After a few days passed we were told it could be 3 weeks so I decided to contact GreenWorks to come investigate especially having a baby. We are still working through issues at home by GreenWorks could not have been more responsive and helpful.

We came to Greenworks Environmental after having a musty smell and “staining” on walls in our second home. We suspected mold. Nick McLaughlin came and did a complete and thorough inspection of the property including taking air samples and swab samples from the interior, attic, and crawl space. After, a complete and comprehensive report, including lab reports from the samples, was prepared confirming mold. A comprehensive clean-up and remediation plan was recommended. We went forward with the clean-up and remediation plan addressing the issues found in the attic, crawl space, and living areas. During the clean-up and implementation of the remediation plan Nick was actively involved on site including supervising the competent crew assisting in doing the work. In the end, it appears Greenworks Environmental addressed our issues evidenced by the greatly improved air quality in the home and the absence of recurrence of staining on the walls verified by a positive clearance report at the end of the process. The follow-up plan included in remediation will re-confirm the results at a later date. We found Greenworks Environmental, Llc. to be knowledgeable, competent, honest and trustworthy honoring their commitments, including providing services on schedule as promised. We highly recommend Greenworks should you have a need for their services.

I live in a 100+ year old rowhome in Baltimore with an incredibly complex mold problem. I previously removed all visible mold and gutted my house completely, but I still feel sick in the house. I've hired three mold remediators and two mold consultants, having already spent about $30k. While the problem has improved some, it's not solved, at least not for someone with my level of sensitivity. Even though I'm not in NJ, Victor graciously spoke with me on the phone for over an hour. He gave me a lot of advice, most of which I hadn't heard from any of the folks I've hired. Victor understood that I didn't really have any bandwidth to hire his company after the money I've already spent and didn't attempt to sell me on services. He merely pointed me in a direction that I could attempt myself and promised to send me resources. I'm eager to try his recommendations.

We were closing on a house that had mold in a couple areas of the basement, as well as elevated levels in the kitchen. Greenworks did an excellent job with the mold remediation plan. They treated the mold, installed vapor barriers on unfinished floors (sand/dirt) and applied spray foam. During the remediation, they sealed off the basement and had industrial fans scrubbing the air with negative pressure. They also used appropriate chemicals that didn’t off gas. It was a 2 day job, but well worth the investment. Katie and all the technicians were very professional. They were respectful of my property and came outfitted with Tyvek suits, respirators, etc. to protect their health as well. Two years later and I’m happy to report the basement has had no recurrence of mold issues! Contractors were in the basement recently and remarked how dry it was, and didn’t smell at all ‘like a basement.’ (Even after a soaking rain the night before.) I have GreenWorks to thank for eliminating the funky, musty damp smells and mold. I have a thermo-hygrometer in the basement and over the course of the changing seasons, the temperature and humidity stay within a good range. Without hesitation I would recommend GreenWorks environmental for anyone needing lab reports or remediation. This review is long overdue. Thank you to the whole GreenWorks crew!
