They take the time to figure your exact wants and needs, talk through and draw out plans and execute to a caliber that you just can’t do yourself. I would one hundred percent recommend all day!

I am an immensely pleased client of Grey Rock Landscape and Construction. Here are some of the many reasons why:
+ to kick off the project - replacing a gravel driveway, solving a drainage/erosion problem on the side of my home, adding planters to, and improving the condition of, my xeric front yard - I met with Dakota who patiently and creatively walked through all aspects of my project.
+ I thought I needed a very expensive French drain to resolve my drainage/erosion issue but Dakota assured me that I did not and a much less expensive solution was available. That was my first sign of Dakota’s integrity.
+ After our initial meeting I was promptly provided with a thorough proposal and all of my questions about the same were addressed very quickly. Prompt communications occurred throughout the entire project and not just in order to acquire my signature to the proposal.
+ Dakota provided me with creative and practical suggestions for my project. His experience was evident.
+ Dakota patiently walked me through the rock yard to view colors, sizes, and shape possibilities. I heavily relied on his experience with color mixing and sizing for my existing yard and driveway.
+ I was provided with a few addresses in order to view past projects. At one address the homeowner was outside and I explained why I was stalking her yard; the homeowner sung praises for Grey Rock and mentioned that they were in the early stages of hiring them for a second project.
+ One day before the work started, Dakota, the on-site project manager Thomas, and I walked through the job description/expectations. Thomas, like Dakota, exuded professionalism while being very warm, friendly and experienced.
+ The work was completed in one day! A crew of four led by Logan started the day and throughout the day several more crew members dropped by to assist.
+ all of the crew members were respectful and considerate and extremely focused on the job.
+ after I paid in full, I did have a small reservation about the improvements made to the xeric yard. Dakota and Thomas immediately addressed the situation and arranged for resolution that was addressed within two business day.
+ based on Grey Rock’s integrity, experience, creative ideas and that they were a joy to work with, I will be engaging them for a patio improvement project next year.

Grey Rock Landscape worked on the new landscape for our backyard last May and we couldn’t be happier. During the initial meeting with Dakota, we discussed our ideas and he made some suggestions based on his experience and that left us confident that they could perform the work. The communication with him and his construction team was fantastic as they kept us informed throughout the project. The entire team was extremely pleasant, polite, and positive during the demolition and construction of the new flagstone patio, pea gravel area for a future xeriscape, chipped stone walkway, sod, sprinklers, and edging. Even when we had them follow-up on a few minor cosmetic issues, they returned with the same smile and pleasant attitude, happy to make sure we were satisfied. I had a great experience with this company! I needed a large, random hole dug for some soil/ground water testing. Dakota came out, said it was no big deal and started on it the next morning. He was quick and very skilled on the excavator. My animals we're really interested in what was going on, but he was great with them and let them hang out around the project. Price was more than fair and they did exactly what they said. 10/10, absolutely recommend! Solid guys, great company.
