Driver has broken my trash can lid and continues to throw my container. Literally the only container that’s not placed upright after being emptied. The lid hinge has broken off due to poor handling on Groots end.

This is how they leave my street? Service has declined with the new guy. Before he got out of the truck to get pieces they flew out when he did his dump.

I did call and had to leave a message. Not call back. No concern. It blew around for about 5 days. Maybe they picked it up maybe they didn't. My neighbor probably threw it away instead.

The drivers are generally great and on time. However, on their own website they say they will pick up unlimited bulk items from my village. The only items you have to call to arrange pickups for are white goods (appliances, etc.). You do not have to call for bulk items - again per their own website. However, the driver did not pick up my bulk items today. I called this office and the woman on the phone explained that it has to be in a bag. I suppose I should just staple a garbage bag to the outside of it? When pressed, they said I'd have to send a photo of the items to determine how to dispose of it. My experience with Groot has been generally good, but this is perplexing. Never once have I had an issue with items being left and I've set out trampolines, kids playsets, broken bicycles, etc. But they decide to balk at wood supported ultra dense Styrofoam (TV packing material) that cannot be broken down without a chainsaw?

With moving in a new home we had many card boxes to dispose off and we placed by the curb. They picked up everything leaving the area clean. We also had old carpet pieces from the previous owners and they also picked up as regular trash. We appreciate the crew very much for making our move easy. Thanks for being so helpful.

Not everything easily dumps into the truck. On a few occasions, I noticed when they tilt the cans over some things fly away. I’m impressed your team doesn’t leave anything laying around, They immediately jump out and pick it up!

Kudos to our garbage collector! On a very windy day he picked up my neighbors recycling bin that had tipped over and the debris that had spilled out. Five star service!
