Connor stopped by yesterday to give me a quote/let me know the options regarding my raised cracked driveway and walkway/porch. He was very professional and friendly. He spent a lot of time at the property going thru the options. Turns out my driveway is not worth fixing, but instead, should be replaced. They can fix the porch/walkway issues, but recommends I get the driveway replaced first so everything would line up. I was very impressed with his honesty, and knowledge of the product and procedures involved. He answered all my questions without hesitation. Also impressed that Groundworks does not "contract out" to other companies/workers. When the time comes, I will definitely give Connor a call. Why not give them a call now for a free estimate! what do you have to loose? Also cost was a lot less than I thought it would be. Keep up the great work Connor!!

Jesus and David raised and stabilized my basement slab and leveled the trip hazard at my front steps. They arrived on time and got right to work. They covered my carpet and kept everything clean. They walked me through exactly what they were going to do. They were courteous and professional. When they were done we went over everything. Great job! Great crew! I would definitely use Groundworks again if needed!

Raised in CO, but grew up along Newport Coast, and built 15 mil+ homes. Moved back here 2015, built a few 14000 s.ft houses on Race and High st, just south of the Country Club.

I have awards for Best Remodeling company in Colorado 2017, 2019, 2020 and Top 100 Contractors in US in 2020, my knowledge speaks for itself!

Therefore when I say Buyer Beware for #Groundworks (Denver), is one of the worst companies that I have EVER dealt with, it comes with many years of experience!

Matt as our Sales guy, quoted us for two areas. We had 1 months time pass. I reached out to him about scheduling. He promised a 10% discount if I gave him my card info at that moment. Long story shortened. It took me 1 day to make my decision. It took me 4 days to finalize. Most of the time, Matt never called me back. I had to call his office to lock in a schedule. We are selling and under contract.

I then scheduled with his office for a date of service. Matt then told me this day was not available after I told him I had a date with his office and tried to push it out a week further, jeopardizing our loan.

I then recalled the office. My original appointment was there. I felt lied to.

Service date then arrives. I paid $2000 for a quote on two areas and on the service date they decided to only do one area. When I called him, to get this corrected while his team was still at my house. He said he would find a solution and call me back. Never happened. Ryan the tech then received a phone call where Matt said he wanted the team to do the work for free and on the DL. When I confronted him about this, he lied about the conversation until I told him I knew the truth.

Matt uses bully tactics to pressure you into contract. Communicates as minimal as possible even when your upset. When you go above his head, he confronts you in a aggressive manner. I wouldn’t recommend. Spent $2000 dollars for 50% of work to get complete…. Buyer beware.

Last Spring, in an effort to reduce the chill in our home and reduce our high energy bills, we reached out to Xcel Energy for guidance. We were referred to Groundwork Denver, NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH GROUNDWORKS DENVER, (notice the absence of the S at the end - an important distinction as the other has received some unflattering reviews).
Lorenzo and José from Groundwork Denver came to our home and thoroughly reviewed all of the opportunities for sealing up the house and even ran a test on our furnace which revealed a dangerously high carbon monoxide level. We stopped using the furnace immediately and got through the summer without it of course. Then in June, Lorenzo, José and Kayia came back to complete some of the energy assistance work on our home that was outlined in our earlier meeting. They showed up on time, were respectful of our home and explained to me exactly what they were doing and how it would help.
We have been so pleased with the improvements made! Our home is 124 years old. Last year, we were able to see the light from outside our front and back doors through the cracks surrounding our doors even when they were closed - and worse - we could feel the cold rushing through those cracks! Now, we wake up to a home that maintains its warmth before we even turn on the heat!
We are thrilled about this! Last year, we had to keep the heat on constantly to stay warm. That won't be the case this year. We are looking forward to staying warm without the fear of high energy bills thanks to their help and the resources of Groundwork Denver.

Warning!!! This company does false evaluations and uses scare tactics to get people to believe what they tell them. They told me I had $43,000 worth of foundation problems. I then had a foundation company and a structural engineer come to my house and both said I have nothing wrong with my foundation. Do not use this company unless you want false information. be aware and do your homework.
